does not bind the valve stem like the plastic ones do
Sturdy and work fine. I also used the plastic ones. Much easier to fix a flat with these than with the plastic ones. The plastic rim adapters bind the valve stem and make removal difficult. These do not bind the stem, so tube removal is easy. I will not use the plastic ones again, even though they work fine.

Great idea

Works perfectly, more peace of mind than plastic
Works great, used it to install some ultralight TPU tubes in some old 26" MTB rims from the 90s. Looks better than plastic and I have more peace of mind that it won't break or that it won't tear a hole in my tube.

Dramatically overpriced, but decent
Are they better than the plastic clip in Presta valve rim adapters? Functionally no. Are they worth $8 for a set of two when the plastic adapters are something like $5 for a set of ten? No. Also, if you happen to have a Dutch bike equipped with Dunlop valve drilled rims and want to convert it to Presta valves, these adapters won’t work (Dunlop valve stems are just slightly narrower than Schraeder valve stems) whereas the plastic adapters will work. But beyond all of the above, these are definitely the best rim adapters you can buy if you need to adapt Schaeder-drilled rims to Presta valve tubes. And they aren’t that much more money than the plastic ones.

Perfect Fit and Function
I really didn't care what the cost was (in relation to what I (might) think the product should cost. The important thing is that it worked perfectly. And I apologize that I didn't have a pic of the adapter from the inside of the rim. BUT, the pic I did take of the finished presta valve after installation. I used just a dab of Gorilla glue on the inside of the rim (probably overkill). After 2 weeks, the tire has not lost 1 pound of pressure. I highly recommend this product if you want to get all your 2-wheelers of the pedal variety on presta valves.

Works Great! Light weight tubes on my older style Trek
They do seem to work great! I love being able to use these new TPU lightweight tubes on my bike. Saved me about a pound in rotational weight. I am not sure when the title says "black" since they are obviously not black and the pictures shows them as silver. Still a good product but I am not sure why they don't update the title/description to reflect the correct thing. I would have preferred black to match my bike.

did not know I need this until too late
I got a set of rims that had been drilled for schrader valves and when I researched installing presta tubes, no one warned me of a problem beside that it may rattle a bit and I consider that a minor issue. This was years ago. One day I aired up my tires and when I got to my destination the tire tube completely flatted in front of me in about 5 seconds. The rim hole had cut into the base of the tube. I do have rim tape and it is slightly misaligned which could be a bad thing, but the hole for the valve was a bit sharp and eventually it cut into the tube. In this case it took many years for this to happen but the reliability is a big problem. I noticed someone had one of the plastic sleeve but was installed on the outside of the rim next to the spokes, this was more a false sense of security. Installation of these sleeves from the inside should solve this issue. It may seem like a hassle, I did not remove the wheels, I simply deflated, took the tube out and press it in. As I mentioned the tape was a little misaligned, so I lifted the tape with a small screw driver and then inserted this sleeve into the tape and then onto the rim. It only took a few minutes plus a few more to inflat the tires. I do notice the plastic sleeve I had cannot fit back in completely.. But the root cause of the random flat tire has now been resolved.

Quality adapter for Presta valves into Schrader rims
I like to use threaded Presta valves because they make on-road tube replacement a breeze. The bike I use when I visit family in upstate NY has rims drilled for Schrader valves. These adapters slip over the Presta valves making a neat installation. Where I ride the road debris of glass, sharp stone, and steel wire from blown radial tires has afforded me several opportunities to practice my tube replacement skills. These adapters and Presta valves have made the exercise easier.
