This guitar plays beautifully. It sounds beautiful and it's color is outstanding. It is easy to tune, use, and move around with(not to big). It is a great value.

Great value for your money.
The guitar itself was fine, nothing special. The color isn't as vibrant as the picture but that's what I expected. It sounds good and the guitar case was nice. It does only come with two picks, which isn't a bad thing, but I did hope for more (of course you can always just buy a bunch of your own.). i don't know if this is a normal thing or not since I'm relatively new, but the capo rubber chips off and peels after super light use. Now, if I'm being honest, that doesn't seem normal after light use because you'd have to replace them really often. It's kind of annoying because the strings can rest in the holes left from the strings the previous time and produces abnormal sounds when the strings are strummed. Of course, these extras probably aren't the best quality, so there's no use taking up so much time dissing a capo. The pocket on the guitar case is nice and large and you can fit some pretty big music books in there, but I wish there were more pockets for smaller things. I don't like to use up too much plastic, so using a sandwich baggie for a few picks is not on my agenda, therefore a small pocket for things such as picks and other items would be helpful. For a beginner, this is a very nice set.

Absolute beginner
I finally bought myself a guitar, two actually. Wanted to do this all my life, just never did. So, I know nothing, this is all a learning experience. Take this review in consideration of that.I like the guitar. It arrived unscathed, with everything shown in ad. It did need minor tuning, but that is easily accomplished. The finish on the outside surfaces is matte. That wasn’t clear from the product description. Just FYI. To my ears, it sounds good. I’ve only learned 2 chords to date, but my wife is pleasantly surprised at how well that sounds.Again, I’m completely new to this. I do find that the pressure necessary to play chords on this is noticeably more than on the Fender electric I also bought. I’m reading that this is normal. That being said, the bridge height is greater and I do not see how this can be adjusted, shy of replacing the bridge. I will continue practicing and see if that remains as noticeable.I think this is a very good first guitar, definitely recommend it to anyone looking to start the hobby. Just expect sore fingertips, limit your practice to 15 minutes at a time and keep at it!
