Absolutely Wonderful product !
I have been wanting new kitchen countertops since I bought this house. But I didn't feel up to ripping out the old countertops and go that route. So I started looking for possible alternatives. First I tried the Rust Oleum product. No thanks. Although it looked better than my old countertops, to me they still looked like they were painted. Plus it took an entire week, as in 7 days to dry. I had been eyeballing this Adhesive Black marble film as a backup plan. So I finally decided, it's either this, or rip all this out and have someone come out and replace my kitchen countertops. Folks this stuff is AMAZING. My only complaint is that I didn't do this from the very beginning, and secondly, that I didn't order two rolls instead of the one. Reason being, I had ordered another similar product but smaller in width for the back splash. And not only was it not as high quality, it also didn't come in the same 24inch width, or 240inch length. Plus, this product is very easy to work with because of the thickness of the material. it lays out well, lines up well, and adheres well. And it appears to be very tough. I say that because you better have some sharp scissors or a good sharp knife to cut through this film. But once it's applied, it looks like marble countertops. I absolutely love this product. And comparatively, considering the price it's impossible to beat. The competitors selling similar type materials, at least from what I ordered for the back splash is no where near as good in quality, consistency or price. So if you are a DIY'er, and want to redo your Kitchen countertops, a table, bathroom counters, whatever your project might be, then this stuff is great. And I couldn't recommend a product more highly than this. For $50.00 I covered my entire Kitchen Countertops. The picture will show the results. The back splash was covered by the other product, just so you know. But the entire length and width of the countertops was covered by this product. So you be the judge. Oh, this also came with a plastic tool to smooth out the wrinkles/bubbles too.

BEST Marble Contact paper, trust me get this one (A LOT OF PEOPLE USE IT INCORRECTLY, READ BELOW)
I ordered several contact papers and this one is the best. The wide panels allow you to create a very seamless marble look and the pattern is such that you can easily overlap areas you missed and it's difficult to tell. There are areas I applied it well and areas I had to apply 8 tiny strips like a collage, and you really can't tell which is which- love that. It just looks like one big piece of marble. This uses 3M glue which is the best removable adhesive if you ask me. IMPORTANT TIP: If you're doing something vertical (as I've seen in other reviews) or you're applying several layers, you need to use a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat the paper and melt the glue which will make it extremely malleable, then smooth it and hold it til it cools under whatever tool you're using to smooth it. It'll stick there until you remove it (which you can do with little to no damage by peeling up a corner then melting the glue with a hair dryer on high as you peel slowly). The most important "pro" of THIS paper was not only the quantity but also that the wide roll isn't so tightly wound up, because if you get a thin tightly wound roll of contact paper then you will inevitably have huge air pockets as it resists you smoothing it out and tries to roll back up. I've re-ordered specifically this one and now I'm not sure what to do with the other brands of contact paper frankly lol. IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE DOING ANYTHING OTHER THAN A PERFECTLY FLAT SURFACE, YOU NEED TO USE A HAIR DRYER OR HEAT GUN TO MELT THE GLUE SO THE CONTACT PAPER STICKS MORE STRONGLY!

Not nearly enough adhesive. Buyer Beware
This product was so bad. I have places where it has raised up because there is not enough adhesive. You press it down amd it just bubbles back up. I have used a similar product from a different company. It worked great! But couldn’t find that brand. Thought I would try this. BIG MISTAKE! Cant return it cause it’s on my counter top. Tried to remove and it just rips. Doesn’t come up like it’s supposed to. Next time more research. Do not buy this product! Wish I could return it. As I am rolling out the rest of the roll it gets worse with pockets of no adhesive. Ughhh

This paper was even more beautiful than the picture!
This black marble contact looked so pretty online but when it arrived it was gorgeous!! This paper was high gloss which made the marble look deep and rich. It was much heavier than any other contact paper I have worked with. We used it to line the kitchen drawers and cabinet shelves in the townhouse my granddaughter just moved into. I purchased the 20 foot roll and each piece was difficult to cut off of the roll because it wanted to curl back up. This also made it difficult to work with inside a drawer. It was a job to get the paper to lie flat but once the first end was down it was easy enough to use the scraper tool to finish the piece. The adhesive was strong yet allowed us to take it up and reposition it multiple times. Once it was finished it was beautiful. I am sure this product was meant to be used on countertops which would have been so much easier. It looked so great my granddaughter is considering covering her countertops with it. Great solution for dressing up a rental and it can be removed when you decide to move. In spite of the difficulty we had we would it do it again in a heartbeat. This product is beautiful and arrived just when thay said it would.

Not for bare wood
I bought this product with the intention of adhering it to a table top that I built. The top was built out of plywood. I peeled the adhesive backing and stuck it to the top and removed the air bubble. It was obvious within a few hours that the top was not going to stick. I removed the covering and then applied a polyurethane clearcoat to the table, let dry and attempted again with a new piece. The clear coat made no difference and it soon came off.I don't think the adhesive that comes with this is suitable for bare wood. Possibly if there was already a laminate covering and you were just covering over it, it'll do fine. Attaching to bare wood I think that you would still need to use contact cement to get proper adhesion.
