Decent amount of light from a small lightweight light
The media could not be loaded. Superb small portable light for nightvision photography and suprisingly cheap too. The video shows a couple of tests, one outdoors from about five meters, one indoors from around one meter, both using just one of these lights and no other light sources at all. Outdoors, even that single light was illuminating a sizeable area enough to see detail, and indoors, a single light at about one meter was more than bright enough to give excellent detail, a good dynamic range in the image, and crisp shadows. Unlike the illuminator in a trail camera, the LEDs do emit a faint red glow in the visible spectrum, but it is not bright enough to be distracting. The light can be slotted into the hotshoe on a camera, or mounted on a tripod to illuminate from the side, or even just hand held. It is worth repeating though, these lights are only useful if your camera or scope has genuine night vision.

Daylight in dark, infrared flood
Wow for the price these are amazing, used in conjunction with an infrared Camera these flood lights light up the area in front and too the side, for upto at least feet, like daylight, the battery lasts for 2 hours on full power, more using lower settings definitely recommend this product well made too.

Not worth having
Literally doesn't have the power to illuminate a mid sized room and is not cost effective to purchase more pods to add to array minus 5 stars on this one.

Great piece of equipment.
The Andoer IR49S Mini IR Night Vision Light is an amazing piece of equipment, it does what it says on the box, it is a night vision light. If your camera is equipped with a night shot facility this unit will increase the area of your night shot vision, if your camera is not equipped with night shot this unit will be of no use to you.I found that when used with my Sony FDR-AX 53 the Andoer IR49S was amazing, it surpassed my expectations, fantastic value for money and a great addition to anyone’s kit, IF YOU HAVE A CAMERA EQUIPPED WITH NIGHT SHOT.

Worked exactly what I needed it for. Oculus Quest 3
I used this product for a slightly different purpose than many others (I would imagine). Since the Oculus Quest uses IR cameras for movement tracking you either need to turn on a visible-light source or create an IR source. Having to use a visible light source, especially when watching a movie/TV is VERY distracting.Using this IR light on even the absolute lowest setting is more than enough for the Quest 3 to track all of your movements with no problem at all.The rechargeable battery lasts forever and is the cherry on top.If you are looking for an IR lamp to use to enable full-darkness tracking for the Quest 3 or 2 then look no further than this IR light, it is perfect.

Wasn't up to the task.
Initially the light looked great, small, adjustable and interconnectedable with other units. However, once fully charged and turn on, the unit doesn't seem very bright and once attached to the camera or my gopro it does nothing. Switching it on and off there was no change to the cameras vision. However for some reason my phone camera sees a bit better in the dark with it. But it's not intended for a phone, as advertised, it's for a camcorder which it doesn't seem to do anything for the night vision. Also the hot shoe mount seems loose even when tightened to the camera and wouldnt seem very sturdy with other units attached to it.Therefore, I will return this as not fit for purpose. Its a shame as its a great size for portability.
