Fresh and Premium, But Not as Impressive as Expected
I had high expectations from Dorje Teas First Flush Darjeeling Green Tea given the premium pricing and FTGFOP1 grade label. The packaging is nice, and the tea definitely feels fresh and of good quality. You can tell it’s not old stock, which is a plus.However, the taste didn’t quite meet my expectations. While some sips felt mildly sweet and flowery as described, at other times it felt almost bland and colorless—lacking depth. I tried adjusting the steeping time, but it still didn’t wow me.The aroma too was very mild, and sometimes barely noticeable. For a tea marketed as "mellow gold" and special spring flush, I was expecting more character. I ended up using it only once or twice—most of the pack is still unused, simply because it didn’t feel special enough to keep reaching for it daily.

I recently tried Dorje Teas' First Flush Darjeeling Green Tea, and I must say, it’s one of the freshest and most flavorful green teas I’ve had! The leaves are whole and fragrant, unlike the crushed or dust-like tea from other brands. The taste is smooth, slightly sweet, and not too bitter—perfect for a relaxing cup.I love that it's organic and packed with antioxidants, making it a great addition to my daily routine. Plus, the aroma is amazing! If you're looking for an authentic Darjeeling green tea, this is definitely worth trying.

Am big addict of Darjeeling tea since 70s. Father being in Armed forces posted in Silliguri in early 60s got the first taste of the same . Rai & Sons in Silliguri remained the iconic shop for him till his death in 2010.2. Green Label Dargeeling Tea available in Army canteens (specially the 100 gms packet) duly prepared in white metal kettle covered with Tea cosy + served with pinch of non fat buffalo milk served our soul for a long time.3. Dorje people seems are unaware of processing of Darjeeling leaves . Makaibari erstwhile owner truly had acquired the skill because he knew in and out of the Darjeeling Tea.4. Dorje Darjeeling Tea lacks the Darjeeling soul leave . Just drying up whole leaves does not make darjeeling leaf . Aggressive marketing skills may make you sell the product , but leaves a bitter taste with purchaser of getting duped yet again by people manipulating their marketing channels.5. My suggestion ; GO UNDERSTAND WHAT DARJEELING TEA stands for.4. Dorje tea
