Star Wars Republic Gunship 75309 UCS Display Model Kit for Adults to Build, Ultimate Collector Series, Office or Home Decor Gift Idea

This is my 2nd LEGO UCS build, the first being the B-Wing, so I was expecting it to be big, I just wasn't expecting the massive over two foot wingspan! I spent around 12 hours on this build and besides the enjoyment of the process, it's fun seeing the engineering that goes into a set this size and wondering how something this complex is designed/developed. I had no problems with this build except for connecting the triangular panels that go underneath the wings. It was a bit of a struggle to get the pieces blindly lined up so they would connect, but otherwise I had no issues with this build. My only real complaint with this set would be only getting Mace Windu and a random clone as the minifigs. To remedy this problem I picked up an Anakin and a set of 3rd party 501st clones (including Captain Rex) to man this awesome gunship. I also opted for standard packaging in the hopes that it would be shipped in an actual shipping box and not just the Lego box with a label slapped on it. It worked out, even if it did take almost a full week before it finally shipped, and the Lego box was in pretty good condition but not perfect. As someone who is a huge fan of the Clone Wars Era, this was very enjoyable to build and is an awesome addition to my Star Wars collection!

Yeah, it's expensive, I get it. I bought this for my 12-year old who loves Legos and Star Wars. He mentioned that this would be so cool to build so I bought it for a Christmas present. The look on his face was worth the price of the set. He was so excited! We worked his tail off and built this in 2 days over the Christmas break from school. No missing pieces, the instructions were complete and easy to follow as always...even for a 12-year old! This set now has a place of honor with his other Lego sets.

Funny enough the only "bad" thing is how gargantuan this thing is. The original set that came out many years before the UCS was probably more proportionately accurate to its 17.4m measure in-universe relative to other UCS ships. That being said, this set displays well and has some fine articulation. Angular turrets up-front, shifting side doors, and belts of ammo you can roll with your fingers. Buy from clones separately, and you have a proper gunship crew! Caught this on sale, but in general it's one of the more reasonable sets cost wise, especially relative to how wide the wingspan is.

This set is awesome. It’s big, well designed, and sturdy. An awesome addition to every anyones collection.

This thing is HUGE, a lot bigger than I expected. It has a lot of great detail, and a solid inner structure that I don't have to worry about it falling apart under its own weight when I lift it. Definitely just for display. Only improvement would be if the side doors fully closed like in the movie and shows. Other than that, its an amazing build. Was a blast to build with my niece.

So excited that I added to my collection. Will most assuredly increase in value. I will be building it the future, so looking forward to it!

This is an expensive LEGO set, but it is amazing! Our family purchased this for a family member who was shut in for medical reasons to help pass the time for them. The family member was thrilled, and had a great time putting it together.

The value is for me is great. An amazing display piece. The assembly was pretty annoying in some parts. Especially the front ball turrets and the cover under the wings. The set main body is sturdy but the turrets are weak. I wish there were more printed pieces and less stickers.

O produto é ótimo para quem gosta de lego e quer colecionar. Porém recomendo comprar numa loja física se você coleciona o produto na caixa, pois na entrega ela veio com alguns amassados e um pouco aberta. Por esse motivo estou dando 4 estrelas.

I’ll start by saying this is my first UCS set and overall, very impressed. Took me about 18hrs to build Turns out I was missing only 1 piece out of the total 3,292. It was a small piece for the stand but luckily the stand can still hold the ship’s weight haha. I went through legos customer support and it’s very smooth. It’ll just have to pick my brain until I get the piece The 2 turrets that swivel out the side are somewhat frustrating to put together The biggest thing with this set is that the back door stays opened - at least in my experience. It only stays closed for maybe 5-10 mins before it opens wide again. Luckily it still looks badass If you have the money, DO IT!!! Just make sure you have the space for it (40oz. YETI bottle for reference in photo) UPDATE: Been on top of my shelf for just about a year now. The back door stays closed. It does take up a lot of room so again, double check you have the space for it - the wingspan alone is massive. Also. When transporting the set, the two turrets fall off very easily and are a massive pain to put back together, so make sure you find a place for it to stay put!
