Gutted only bought this kettle may 2022 and have mopped up pools of water on my oak wortop as the base of kettle leaking when water in, not good or safe as leaks when you pour boiling water, not happy. Amazon have been great and given me a full refund. Thanks you Amazon.

I love this kettle. It's like being back in the olden days but without the faff. Only wish it had a whistle. Would definitely recommend it.

Love the design but would look nicer if the visible top portion matched the enamel sides. The kettle is relatively noisy too.

Problem with this kettle is how hot it is to touch. I know all kettles are hot when boiled, but because it's just metal it really burns. I don't think it's safe for children or elderly people, as if you forget and go to take the lid off (if you need to refill it) it does burn. Well maybe that's just me, it does look good though
