Worked out great!
I used these clamps to mount a bar for use as a mount for a rear view mirror on my golf cart. The roof mounts are aluminum so this saved me from having to weld to the existing aluminum roof frame. They worked out great at a reasonable price.

Seem to get the job done
I have a small canopy that had the exact same type of joint but in plastic that broke so it made sense to get these metal ones. These seem to be casted pieces made of what I assume is aluminum, there have rough edges because of the casting but it didn’t really affect mounting them. I’ll update if they fail but so far they did get the job done.
