It exceeded what it's supposed to do this is great for when you're turning pens or anything that you need a mandrel for very well constructed materials are great I recommend to anyone that uses one

The jam nut that holds the rod straight is so poorly machined that the rod has some wiggle in it that makes it impossible to turn a pen of any quality. I won't buy another one of the same brand.

Works great

Simply does not work. The nut slips immediately, not allowing the blanks to have any pressure. I tried a few times with this and gave up. Went back to my old one which worked and showed me that this one was the problem. Maybe I just got a bad one. But, I'm returning it.

How are there zero instructions included with this + no instructional videos?

Could have ordered the same quality from Rockler or Woodcraft for substantially more money. Quality tool, and built to last. This is not a toy, but a real tool.

The mandrel worked great! However, the drill bit and reamer were not straight and drilled the holes at a very severe angle. I sent it back and requested a refund more than 3 weeks ago and have not received my refund yet.
