I bought these to keep my sports-style sunglasses from falling off my head. Compared to other eyewear retainers I have used, I found the Chums version to be tighter and harder to fit onto glasses with thicker temple tips. After some patience, I was able to get them on. In one sense, this snug fit ensures the glasses will not fall out of the retainer strand. In another sense, the snug fit makes it difficult to get the retainer on far enough to ensure the sunglasses do not fall out of the retainer with any bit of resistance. These are good quality, the right length, and usable, but the one glaring issue I have with them might be a deal-breaker for others.

I like these and they work pretty well. They don't fall off and you can tighten them to keep glasses from sliding down your nose. The only thing is that they're probably best suited to people with short hair. I have long hair and when I try to adjust them, the slider ball thingie gets caught in my hair and almost every time a few hairs get pulled out. Ouch!

Excellent as always. I keep a few of these on hand so I can throw the dirty sweaty ones in the laundry. They have been my go-to for years, and good color options too...

I need prescription glasses to work on house projects. However, I scratched my glasses when they slid off a table before using this item. These keep my glasses at the ready to read a tape measure but keeps my glasses from getting scratched.

This is a simple product that holds your glasses (in my case safety glasses) around your neck so that you don’t misplace or lose them. It’s bright coloring makes it easy to identify when you’ve removed them from about your head area. It’s a little stretchy and holds your glasses snuggly. It’s an amazing product and I would suggest it to all my friends and family if they were in the market for eye glass/safety glasses holders. I’d give 6 stars if it let me. This is the only product I bought on Amazon this week that didn’t disappoint me. I now order one of these every week so I feel like something in my life has gone right. I can’t wait to get my next order! I love you guys! Keep up the great work!

These provide better protection and fit well over my regular glasses. The color on top frame is a nice touch, too. Very happy with this purchase!

I have prescription glasses I have to wear. Bought these for a water rafting trip and they worked great! Once you put these on the ends of your earpieces they are not coming off. I'll be using them anytime I'm at the beach or on the water. Another woman in my boat had her glasses hanging around her neck with these and went into the rapids. She did not lose her glasses! All the guides on our boats had them too and this was the brand they sold at the front desk. They are cheaper here on Amazon especially if you get the black! Highly recommend!

I bought this as I knocked my glasses while bellringing (yes, seriously) and I lost control because they were skewwhiff and I couldn't see properly. Not a good idea. The retainer is comfortable and the ends slid onto my glasses easily but with a firm grip. Adjustment is easy, even when worn, which is handy as I tighten the retainer up while ringing and then loosen it in-between spells to give the bridge of my nose a rest, all without taking my glasses off.

It's a bit difficult to get these onto my glasses as the glasses have wide parts at the ends of the arms. I need to do this every so often when I wash the straps. But, once I get these retainers on, they are great and easy to use. They keep my prescription sun glasses on my face when I'm bicycling even on VERY ROUGH ROADS. These are great value as sun glasses like I have, with my prescription, and all the options are at least $700+ and these straps save them from damage.

This worked as expected on my glasses that had a little rounded arm tip, but not sure of the fit on a straight glasses arm tip.Overall, for me my glasses stay on all day and felt secured.
