San Marcos, Chilpotle In Adobo Sauce, 7.5 Ounce

Hell yeah! So damn tasty! The peppers are great, and the sauce adds to anything. Absolutely wonderful!

I love these peppers. They are nice sized peppers that I use mostly to marinade and cook my steaks in. They add a nice little bit of heat to the plate and I don't feel a need to use any other sauces.

These chipotle peppers are super good. If you are making hummus or a chipotle mayo, you only need one or two of the peppers and then you can use the rest for a sauce. The flavor is nice and smokey.

One of these lasts me for a while, because I take the adobo sauce, one chipotle pepper and puree it with things like sour cream, mayo, etc to make a gorgeous and robust sauce. I use it on sandwiches, pasta, as a dip, scrambled eggs, potatoes, you name it. I freeze what I don't use right away and thaw it overnight for the next batch. My husband goes nuts for this and wants it on everything, lol.It's a bit spicy for me, hence the dairy and mayo version (mutes the heat level but not the flavor) but it's smoky, rich and adds great depth to ANYTHING!

Love this brand. Really good flavor and packs a punch. I like mixing this with the kind of low calorie dressing you can't eat on its own and a little greek yogurt to make a low fat/high protein dressing that tastes good. You can also use this as a coffee substitute in a pinch when you need a quick morning pick-me-up.
