ShoeiRF-1400 Mural Men's Street Motorcycle Helmet

I purchased this helmet to replace my Arai Corsair-X that was stolen while at the track. I closely evaluated several helmets including the Shark Race-R Pro Carbon and decided on the Shoei RF-1400 for racing and street racing. The RF-1400 medium size actually fits me better than my Arai did as I am between sizes at 56.5mm. The helmet is a bit tight when putting it on but fits very well once on. Can't comment on noise level since I don't focus on that. Weight is average. This is IMHO the best helmet for the money. I would recommend it.

Fits perfectly based on my measurements. I purchased a Medium and my crown size is 22 1/2 inches. I ordered a used helmet at a lower cost that was still new, but had been opened and tried on, and it still has the unused pin-lock and user packet with it. Smelled like a new car. I’m happy with my purchase.

I bit heavier than before, and significantly heavier than 1100 generation, but feels good and true to the size, even though the check pads are now snugger.Ventilation is definitely improved, except for one thing there is less room in front of the mouth now, so the visor gets foggy faster on a wet day because the air doesn't escape that easy even when the chin curtain is removed.The sound insulation is better too.Overall great quality and perfect fit.

Previously I was running an ls2 that was so big and bulky felt like a sail catching the wind. With this I can turn my head and it don't even feel like I'm wearing a helmet. Added a cardo packtalk bold and it was kind of a pain but not to bad. Quality is on point and for the price it should be. I got the basalt gray in a small for my little melon sized head. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
