These FW liquid acrylics are perfect for learning color mixing techniques. My previous set lasted well over a decade before they needed replaced! The FW coverage is amazing and the ink is incredibly opaque. However, a watercolor effect can also be achieved by adding more water. I was thrilled that this set included an empty marker cartridge which is perfect for black or any other color you wish to do line-work with! There’s no streaking or uneven coverage because they are like ink.

Good ink for airbrushing.

Loved the colors, everything arrived in good condition as well, the pen is not very useful to me but it works correctly, no complaints.

Really great. Blends well and you can get a wonderful variety of colors and shades. Wish it stayed wet for a little longer on the palette so you can use it up before having to mix more.

I use this inks to fine tune my hobby paints (Vallejo). I mix a little of the inks with Vallejo paints to get the exact color shades, tints or hues I want and the I airbrush with the mix or apply it with a brush. This way I’m limited to the colors I have. Good results so far.

I'm a professional artist. All my work is uv reactive. These were absolutely worth the cost. Super intense pigments. They mix well with acrylic medium, paints and other inks. They work in my airbrush without needing to thin. I used some dry pigments with them as well, and it worked fantastically. I wish the brand would make a white uv reactive ink and a glow in the dark ink. Seriously.

Absolutely garbage to paint with. too watery with too low of a pigment load means that it’s extremely translucent and does not saturate well. And when you do use enough to get nice opaque saturation, it dries like crap and looks terrible. A complete waste of money.

Depending on use, they may feel thin, but the coverage is solid and the pigment count is even better than expected. Great for 40k miniatur and possibility other arts!

Daler-Rowney FW Acrylic Ink? With this brand, you cannot go wrong. I have other brands of acrylic inks and other than Liquitex, these are top shelf! I used modeling paste thru a stencil, let it dry and then dripped in some orange & red. Sprayed with water and watched it create magic. Can't go wrong!
