I was really happy with this helmet. I tried 3-4 others and this is the only one that felt comfortable on a long ride without getting hot or sliding around. Some of the other helmets I tried were double or more the price as well. My only complaint is the visor is a little long for my big polish nose. I’m sure it would be fine with a smaller nose but it rubbed the tip of my nose the whole time.

Fits well and feels fast

I was impressed with the SLS3 Triathlon Helmet. The aero design and removable shield visor made it perfect for time trial TT. The helmet fit comfortably on my head with a snug fit, although I found the helmet to be slightly smaller than expected from the pictures. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that other visors also fit with and can be used on this helmet, which added to its versatility. The German design is evident in the attention to detail and quality of the helmet. I highly recommend this helmet to any triathlete looking for a high-performance and versatile option for their next race.

Great value for a Tri helmet. Met all my expectations.

All the research says that changing to an aerodynamic helmet is the least way to improve speed: proper bike fit, (saddle height and size, bike size, stem post height), lightweight wheels/tires and clip-on shoes are first. At less than 20MPH, this helmet saves 2-3 watts of power and the increase in speed is not noticeable (a 1/10th MPH increase). But for a long century ride, this may save your leg power a bit. At over 25MPH, the savings in wattage and the increase in speed is more noticeable. There is absolutely NO AIRFLOW through these types of helmets. They are HOTTER than heck. I'll wear this helmet if less than 65 degrees and my cheap helmet, with 24 air vents, on hotter days.Otherwise, I like the style and the coloring (matches my bike). I've used the visor only a couple of times. Because I wear glasses, it's a little tricky to get the visor on over the glasses. Also, the visor has to pop off first before taking off the helmet ( a 2 step process.)
