Moscow Mule or Summer Day
3.31.22~ Ahh, Ginger Beer. The Caribbean's answer to 'What goes with a beach".My Non Alcoholic go to for digestion & bloating. It's like a better tasting kombucha. One sip & here comes the burp.So many ginger beers. Most are so sweet. Some are more Ale than Beer.Compare 'East Imperial' eco-friendly cans vs 'Fever Tree' bottles6.1 oz vs 6.8 and 13 gms of sugar vs 18. Equally delightful.'East Imperial' in single use cans is a what you want on a hot day.A little bubble, a little ginger, a little sweetened. No specific flavor is dominant. They all play nicely together. If you want a Ginger Burn like Goslings, this may not be for you. This is more 'Moscow Mule' with Vodka mixer than Dark & Stormy with rum. Please forgive me, my bartender slips out every now & again. As a non-soda drinker, who sometimes likes a little bubble, this is so satisfying.Reed's is my preferred bc it has lime. We need a lil lime in the coconut, and the ginger beer. From Walmart, I'd get Reeds. On Amazon, it'd be this 'Premium Mombasa'.Hope that helps & Cheers

Partially opened box with damaged cans
The product arrived with the box partially opened, 4 out of 10 cans were damaged with one to the point where it was leaking, leaving me with a sticky mess to clean up. To make matters worse, returns aren’t accepted. Extremely disappointed, especially given that this isn’t a cheap ginger beer.

Delicious but too hard to get delivered
Tho cans are small-ish the ginger beer is the best in our view. (Fever Tree close second)Problem with East Imperial is access: delivery can't arrive before Sep and it's July. Way too late.Best ginger beer there is but if not avail then it's not.

Premium ginger beer with a spicy kick to it
The media could not be loaded. East Imperial doesn’t disappoint with this Mombasa ginger beer. I’ve tried their yuzu tonic water and it stood up that test of my taste buds as well! This ginger beer is hot and spicy. I was sipping on it while eating spicy pork gyoza and it was a terrible idea because it compounded the heat! These cans aren’t all that big, but that’s just how I like them. I try to limit my soda consumption and this premium ginger beer doesn’t get in the way of that because unlike commonplace sodas, it’s easy to drink only a few a week and not be tempted at the store to get more on a cheap whim.

A Refreshing Drink That Can Be Enjoyed As Is Or Paired With An Alcoholic Liquor Partner
East Imperial Premium Mombosa Ginger Beer is a refreshing drink that can be enjoyed as is or paired with an alcoholic liquor partner. It is light, crisp, and effervescent. The flavor of the Ginger is a well balanced sweet and spicy bite with a very natural taste to it. When reading the ingredients list, it makes sense as Ginger Root is a listed ingredient. All of the ingredients are recognizable - Carbonated Water, Cane Sugar, Ginger Root, Natural Flavors and Citric Acid. I liked that it was not as sweet as some other Ginger Sodas on the market can be. The order includes ten 6.1 ounce cans. I found the can size ideal and it paired beautifully with rum. I also enjoyed it as a 3 o'clock beverage on its own. There are 55 calories per can. There are no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colors, or flavors. This is a Product of New Zealand. I am really impressed with this product and look forward to trying more sodas from East Imperial. Of the flavors I have tried thus far, Ginger Beer is definitely my favorite.

Surprisingly good tasting ginger beer.
I've tried a number of different ginger beers over the years and never been a huge fan of them for the most part. Most have far too strong of a ginger flavor and have a definite hotness/spiciness to them which I don't find appealing. I decided to give this one a try none the less. Well I'm here to tell you, this one is outstanding. It has the flavor of a good ginger ale, but much more of that flavor. However, there is none of that hot/spiciness that is common with a lot ginger beers. Despite having 13 grams of sugar per 6.1 ounce can, they don't taste overly sweet. This is altogether a great tasting ginger beer. However it was not without its problems. Four of the cans likely froze during shipping as the bottoms of the cans have their bottoms popped out like is common when you freeze a can soda/pop. It's the two cans at each end of the case, which makes the freezing theory more likely. The final issue is that it is $19.99 for a case of ten 6.1 ounce cans which is quite expensive. The soda is an import from New Zealand so the price makes sense, but that does make it very expensive.A tasty ginger beer that I suspect lots of people will enjoy.
