These taste so good. Not candied sugar lumps. Not dried fruit leather, but soft chewy goodness. GMO free is super important for me, as I eat and enjoy these for their nutritional value. I do think these are the highest quality Papaya chunks I've had. The size, 1 pound bag, is good and the price is acceptable for the quality. I will continue to purchase these!

They were sweeter than I anticipated, but they were really good! Basically, I considered them like healthier pieces of candy.

Great papaya! Best part is that there's no added sugar. First couple bags could not close well after opening but they seemed to have fixed that issue. All my recent bags have closed fine.

Item is marketed as all natural dried papaya, and the nutrition label lists that as the only ingredient. However, as someone who has eaten a fair share of dried papaya over the years, I can tell you that there's at least one, if not more, added dye in this product. It's not definite if sugar was added, as papaya has a large amount of natural sugar, and the sweetness level is available to me. However the fact that the dye(s) isn't listed in the ingredient list, I don't really trust this product and have requested a refund. Also, as others have noted, the packaging is flawed and is not resealable.

Good stuff. I used it in baking and it held up great. Not too sweet, and added nice moisture.

Very happy with the quality and value. Always looking for minimal additves. These are great for digestion with the natural papaya fiber and enzymes. Good shelf life. Just the right mix of moisture and "chew". Piece sizes are great for grabbing a 1-2 as a subblemental aid or a few more as a treat or to mis with other dried fruits and nuts. Repeat buyer.

Grew up eating fresh, sweet papaya most mornings for breakfast. I am in an area in the contiguous U.S. now that does not grow papaya, but imports it from Peru, Guatemala, etc. It is basically tasteless. Thought I would try these since fresh isn't an option. The added sugar made it more a candied fruit than a natural dried fruit. 2 bites and the bag went in the trash. If you are used to eating candied fruits, this is an option. If you are longing for the real papaya taste in a dehydrated form, you probably won't care for this.
