This organizer is amazing! I love it. Heavy construction. Velcro to hold dividers, lid and bottom (to carpet of floor) in place. I can collapse one side for smaller sorting. Straps to hold in place. A top to keep the insides in and velcro to keep it on. Pockets all around...some mess and some solid....one with a flap(visible in picture). I can't wait to have an excuse to use it for an outing. My off-road jeeping friends will be jealous. I am very glad I bought it. May just need to buy a second for the main cabin of the car. I can think of so many uses!

I'm in Wisconsin. We tailgate. For everything. All year. I keep a tailgate "bucket" always packed and ready to go. What I used previously was soft-sided and kind of flimsy, but it had 3 sections and outside pockets for organizing. THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER. While it does fold flat, when opened completely it's very sturdy and has solid sides and bottom. There's Velcro inside one section and a partition so you can adjust it a bit for your needs. There are pockets all the way around; canvas type on one side, mesh on the other - I added some Velcro to make sure my small stuff stays put. The cover Velcros in place. This would have been wonderful on Opening Day when we got rained on... too bad I ordered this after the event. And if you don't need the whole thing, you can fold half of it in and it clips to stay small (I don't see me ever using this feature, but it's nice to have as an option).While I'm absurdly in love with this thing, I'd suggest a couple tweaks. When fully packed, the cover doesn't completely reach from side to side; the Velcro helps, but it'd be nice if it really protected from rain / snow. Another partition and more Velcro options for sectioning would be nice too. Overall, it's a million times better than what I had, and I'm so excited for the next tailgate!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It holds all of my winter emergency supplies with some room to spare, and the straps allow me to secure it to the vehicle. It does not seem inclined to movement on a carpeted surface, anyway, but I appreciate the extra option to ensure that it stays put. The interior dividers and all the pockets allow for sufficient organization, and the lid seems sturdy. I wouldn't put anything particularly heavy on top, but I have put groceries, weekend bags, and other items on it without issue. In my Grand Cherokee, it takes up about 1/4 of my cargo surface area, and whichever way I place it, if it is against the back of the seats I have room to load items both in front and to the side of it. I don't move it often, so I don't know how the handles would hold up to wear in that kind of use, but with what I use it for I would anticipate this holding up well for a long time.

I purchased this Folding Auto Trunk Organizer because I love to travel with my 4 kids by car and i was thinking about a very roomy and sturdy organizer with plenty of side pockets for all my gear as I was sick of all "stuff" rolling around in the cargo area. That is exactly what I needed! Well made. Great value.The organizer is strong enough to stand on its own.There are 2 strong carrying handles on both sides of the organizer which can be used to lift heavier things.Overall its a great item. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this kind of organizer.

I like the flexibility you have with how you can conform it different ways to suite your needs. I appreciate the fact that you can make it half size to put on the seat to hold smaller items when driving so they don't fly around the car with braking. My only complaint is that there is no instructions sp it's trial and error along with looking at photos on Amazon to figure out how to configure it and how to use the straps, and that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. If instructions were included, I would have given it 5 stars. As others have mentioned, some kind of rubber or velcro non slip strip on the bottom would be great to keep it from sliding around (still figuring out how to attach it in our trunk so it doesn't slide around).

This has worked well for the trunk of our compact SUV. Holds all the stuff we like to have on hand in the car, yet is easy to move in and out for cleaning or to provide cargo space. Wanted a top to reduce visibility but cannot adhere it because of some items. Still, helps to lay it on top with or without attaching it to the main storage box. Good quality. Tried straps to attach to car but found them difficult to adjust and that organizer itself, when full, seems to anchor itself. So straps have not been needed or used. Do not foresee need at this time.

Normally, I don't leave reviews, but for this one, I'll make an exception. This organizer is simply perfect --- from design to engineering to materials and finish. I use it to store gear in the rear of an SUV, including emergency gear, hiking & camping & climbing tools, and automobile-related stuff. Does all that well with thoughtfully-designed compartments and pockets. I especially like the foldable top that you can hide away neatly, if not needed, or attach with Velcro tabs to cover. Keeps stuff hidden from prying/prowling eyes. The vendor also seems to be the kind of small business that reads these reviews to get ideas on how to keep improving the product. Honestly, if you're just going to use this for stowage, I don't have a single idea for improvement right now after using it for a week or so.

Received organizer. Very sturdy, lots of pockets, and lid is a great bonus. Only issue was that one of the clips to tie down the organizer was broken. Tried to contact seller via their website as indicated on the included card but it's in Russian(?) and was unable to get it in English. Sent message via Facebook and no response. Would have sent back but item is currently unavailable and other than clip, item was perfect and fits my needs. I used a carabiner clip and was able to rig the attachment cord. 3 stars for damaged item and no way to contact seller.
