I have a major puller of a dog who is strong, 70# and gets really excited about walks. I use this between a regular leash a double-bungee lead and his vest or gentle leader and it keeps him in line without destroying my psoriatic arthritis sensitive hands (not liking crushing from the sides when hunk of dog pulls). Seems durable and I love the locking carabiner.

I need to be able to shorten the leash and have more control at times. This product does exactly that. I use it almost every time I walk my dog. This is easy to use, soft on my hand, but firm and strong to give me control.It is a well designed and sturdy product.

Could be some weak points, but my dog is only 1 yr, 18 kilos. He has yanked it hard a few times lurching at things, and it's still in a fine condition. Easy to attach and hold, convenient. Pleasant for my dog when he pulls, overall a benefit!
