Sturdy, but not too heavy. Too early to comment on durability, but this is a survival item and not a daily use tool. Being made of 3Cr13 stainless steel, it wouldn't be reasonable to expect it to keep an edge as well as high carbon steel, but it won't rust if not cared for.Satisfied with this purchase.

good tool i hope it would be durable, compass is a bit slow to point direction. when at is tighten look durable and good on grip. though the knife’s tang than connect to the socket is plastic will definitely break i one forceful slash with an objet.

I really like this thing! I bought it on an impulse because it looked cool and the price was right. It showed up in a small organized box in pieces, which I liked. Sturdy Aircraft aluminum, rubber O rings to prevent water seaping in, pretty nice. Assembly was easy, instructions laid it out. Pretty sturdy, 7 out of 10. Knife is only about 3 inches but it should work fine. Everything works a described. I'd say buy, especially at the price point.
