Très satisfaite du produit, je l'ai utilisé pour isoler l'intérieur d'une boîtier à serveur pour ne plus entendre mon NAS et je n'entends plus qu'un faible souffle, je ne m'attendais pas à autant de résultat pour ce prix !

I needed another 12 panels for a project i'm working on - Theres a million Acoustic Foam panels out there, with the vast majority being in 12 or 24 packs. Looking for the best bang for buck, I went with these not realizing there was only 6 panels. It's my own fault for not paying attention, but the standard is 12 or 24. For a few dollars more you can get 12 from other retailers. The value here is terrible for 6 pieces. Look elsewhere.

I bought the 6 pack of acoustic foam panels to create a quiet housing in which I can fit my server. The server houses many mechanical drives that backup my work and the constant clicking of hard drives is a distraction. I decided to move the server into a custom timber box which is lined in the JBER acoustic foam to deaden the noise - the project works perfectly and I would estimate that about 80% of the noise has been reduced, far quieter with the foam fitted than without. The box is lined on all walls excluding the bottom where the server sits on rubber feet. For airflow, the front of the unit is left open with the rear having holes cut where the extraction fans are located within the server housing. The box assembly is fitted with the rear facing a close wall on an upstand with the exhaust fans facing the wall - a square of the acoustic foam is attached to the wall to deaden the sound bounce effect from the fans. I can hear some slight noise from the front of the unit- but most of the sound was being generated towards the rear of the server, now greatly muffled via the JBER acoustic foam. (I was careful to allow good airflow and space for the heat from the cooling fans to escape). So, 10 out of 10 from me - the foam works perfectly and has provided a very noticeable reduction in noise - and it looks good (but is inside a box for my purposes unfortunately). Happy customer, would certainly recommend!

Semblent vraiment super bien. Je ne les ai pas encore assemblées pour faire un petit caisson.

It came compressed in the vacuum bag, and I read recommendations to soak it in water to make it fully expand and let it dry for days to remove the smell. I decided to heat it up with a hairdryer and it expended in seconds! Just blow hot air on it going around every "pyramid" and the backside until fully expended. What you see in the pictures is how it looks just out of the bag, and on the right, it's after 45 seconds of using a hairdryer. So, soaking is not needed! Also, it smells like nothing. I put it in the PC case with a constant airflow in ad out ~ 140CFM. If there would be any smell, it would be noticed immediately, but there is no smell at all. Sound-wise, it works great for me, removing most of the hight pitched noise. Now I only can hear the sound of the air that blows through the case, while before I could hear a coil wine, water pumps, a slight fan dronning, etc. Overall - very satisfied!
