Cordoba C1M Classical Acoustic Nylon String Guitar, Protégé Series

I bought this Cordoba Protege C1M guitar for my daughter by her teacher's recommendation. It is laminated but it's very pretty and it has a very nice sound, very warm and sweet. The action is also very comfortable, so the strings don't hurt her fingers even though it hasn't been set up yet. She is very petite, at just 5 feet tall, and it fits her just right even though it is a full size (teacher helped with proper posture). We tried many other brands, including other top brands, and this was the most comfortable for her fingers and size, plus it had the best sound for price range. Comfortable and a good sound means her motivation won't suffer because of equipment. The one which is worth twice as much doesn't feel or sound twice as good, only about 1/4 better. Teacher says that later, when she has to do recitals in a year or two, then we might want a solid wood one with a bigger sound from a way bigger budget ($$$$). I recommend you have yours checked for defects upon arrival. Ours was in good shape with no real defects. It does have a buzz on the 12th fret but she won't be there soon. It came with a tool to adjust the action to make it lower or higher. We are very happy with our purchase. Good price and delivered in two and a half days.

You can’t get a better beginner product for the money. Very well made, yet light weight; should last for years and comes with a three year warranty. Only thing is, the Savarez 500CJ strings might be tough for beginners to hold down. Still a very good quality string, though. One of the best values I’ve ever spent money on.

This guitar sounds great, it looks amazing aswell. My only issue is something is messed up with the tuning, and I cant for the life of me figure out what it is. I've spent hours online trying to troubleshoot this issue, I tried tuning up and tuning down, I made sure the bridge was seated right, I looked for any loose tuning pegs, strings were all seated well, and for some reason it will still go horribly out of tune within 3 hours of not playing.This may not be an issue for you if you tune anyime before you play anyway, sometimes i'll do the same, but this guitar becomes horribly untuned within hours, and I dont know why. Does sound good though, rather unfortunate.

I replaced my Fender classical guitar with the Cordoba. This guitar is so much better and the sound is great. I purchased this as a travel guitar. I highly recommend this product. As far as a negative, I wish I had purchased a Cordoba sooner.

November 2020 I decided to try to learn guitar during quarantine. My friend, and guitar teacher, helped me know what to look for. I decided on this Cordoba. The packaging was excellent. It arrived safe and sound. It’s beautiful, fits well in my hands- though of course it took some time getting used to since I am new. It’s now July 2021 and I’m very comfortable with it. There have been no issues. I am happy with my choice.

Muy buena guitarra. Buen sonido, suave, el puente está un poco levantado sin embargo no es difícil pisar los trastes. Insisto, la calidad del sonido proyectado es increíble, vale totalmente la inversión para cualquier aficionado.

It's a very beautiful guitar, I think it's great for begginners! The quality isn't super good, but it's fine to start :)

Great sound and feel

Go for it. Its imported from USA. Best sound quality.Have been using it for one and half years. no issue at all. Every time i play it, i fall in love with my guitar. The sound and the melody that this guitar can produce is totally dependent upon the user.This is the cheapest Cordoba product that you will ever get. Cordoba especially build this guitar for light users and beginners.Strings remain in tune for 7-10 days max. Then you have to retune it. (But you can use a trick that every classical guitarist follows. Use standard tuning in the 2nd or 3rd fret and apply capo).Every classical guitar has the same issue, which is never addressed as a problem.use Cristal Corum Savarez 500CJ string.string costs about 2k to 4k. Remember string will never tear because THEY ARE NYLON STRINGS.A small point that i would like to add is, you will observe that after tuning for several times (20-25) a small bulge may occur on the body, or even the bridge seems to open up. This will be the correct time to change your strings.A cheap alternative is (D'Addario EJ46 Pro Arte Hard Clear Classical Guitar Strings) costs almost 800 INR

It's perfect, the tonal quality is great, the fretboard is just the right size for being a classical guitar. This guitar will be a great investment as it is pretty easy to play, and it can last for more than 5 years, enough for you to learn and master classical pieces and techniques like tremelo, picado etc.

Playability is good on this guitar. Easy on fingers and the weight quite light too. Sounds great by the way. Only issue that I faced was that it got out of tune in a short span. Say 2-3 hours. But that can also be sorted by monitoring the screw on tuning pegs and seeing whether they are tight enough. Overall, a good buy for this price range. Better than yamaha C40 or fender.

This guitar is amazing. I love the finish - its smooth and I really like that its not shiny! The size is perfect for me (adult) as well as my 10yr old son - very versatile.I also was very impressed with the service I received via COSMO music!Great seller, great experience, great product!
