It works. Mounting to something stationary maybe better if not a plate to keep pedal oriented in a upright position. Threads and valves work with ease for all connections and operations.

So far this has worked perfectly as a foot pedal control for my sandblasting cabinet. The ports are close to together so I used reinforced pvc tubing and barb fittings to connect to my cabinet.

Excellent price and seam to be of good quality. I bought two of these to use on an air over hydraulic press I built. I've read a few bad reviews but in each review it appeared that the pedals were hooked up wrong by people with no experience (not meant to be offensive). This is a double acting valve (such as to operate a cylinder back and forth). To use it as a single acting valve like I have (press on/release off), just plug the 2nd port. If this second port isn't plugged it will "leak" air out when pedal is depressed. I could've just bought a single acting valve but preferred the design of these better. Would definitely purchase again.

For over 10 years, I'd been using a trigger operated blast gun in my HF cabinet. Sure, they work and are fine, but I needed to change things up and finally converted it. Part of the upgrade was adding a pneumatic vibrator/shaker to agitate the media hopper, but I wanted it to be operated in conjunction with the gun, not run constantly. With this pedal, I added a T and split the output to feed the gun and a regulator to control the vibrator. It works perfectly. I feed the pedal with 1/2" od dot brake line into a push lick fitting and output to the gun with a 3/8" od dot line with the same fittings and the shaker with a 1/4" od vinyl line. Very clean and easy, and makes this thing world's better. Literally everything in the box aside from the actual box and perf steel plate was purchased here.

Well made. I'm using it for a sand blasting cabinet. I added 1/4" to 3/8" brass adapters to work with my 3/8" hose fittings on my 1/2" air hose. Wish is came with 3/8" fittings instead of 1/4". I mounted it to a steel plate to keep it flat on the ground and make it more manageable to use. Appears to allow plenty of air (CFM) for my sandblaster that has a 3mm air nozzle with a 6mm abrasive nozzle. Works great.

Inlets and outlets are a bit restrictive but it does the job for my small grit blasting cabinet.

Used this on my press, now it's hands free which is prefect for the large parts I work with. Be aware there are 2 outlets, one needs to be plugged if you are only using a single stage. For example when your foot is not on the pedal air will constantly flow out one port. When you apply pressure to pedal that port turns off and air exits out the second port. For most applications you would plug the port that flows when you're not touching the pedal. This plug can be had at any local hardware store. I hope this helps others understand how it works, that it doesn't have a bad leak.

Leak's there no matter how it is connected. No instructions given did a bunch of research to find I have it hooked up correctly, tried many other ways also. Junk!

The pedal has a pressure dump feature that kicks in when u take your foot off the valve hence when you press the first part of the pedal stroke u have some air bleed till further pedal depression routes air to the output side. As for flow modulation it works quite well , pretty stiff spring in there so works well with work boots. The line pressure dump feature is nice i guess as your output isnt left charged when u pedal off but that may not work for everybody i dont need it for my purpose so the air bleed at pedal initiation is just wasting air for me although its a small volume. Con ; the fittings are way to close together you cant have 2 couplers side by side i had to put a 90* on but it needed a 90 for my setup on the output anyway . just fyi Pro : all metal construction well made pedal

This was a USED item. Thread tape left over in ports, evidence of bolt holes having been used, and a crack in the foot plate.
