This book is loaded with important information, easy to follow and with plenty of examples that aid understanding, and is a must for anyone who wants to build a robust and successful website. Andy gave a lot of practical tips and examples on how to improve your ranking. As wel as, do's and don'ts. Be sure that he knows what he's talking about. But beware everyone looking for get richquick: he only talks about White Hat methods ;) He can rank youre site without grey and black stuff, so youre ranking will live in peace with every kind of black & white creature from Google Zoo.

Great (and Unique) SEO Strategies and Best Practices
Dr. Williams puts into perspective the importance of following Google's guidelines and best practices - something unheard of from many claimed to be "SEO" experts.I was very pleased with the actionable items from the book, some of which I've already implemented into my site.SEO has changed forever and this book will provide much value for years to come.

Why did I give it 4 stars?Because it appears to be geared toward old school SEOs who need to be constantly reminded, "DON'T DO ANY SHADY THINGS! DON'T BUILD LOW QUALITY BACKLINKS!"It was great content mostly but could have been much shorter if those admonitions have been left out. Much of the content seemed to be geared toward that audience. What did I like about it?It really was about SEO, not content or inbound marketing like a lot of "SEO" books are about these days. (Not that SEO doesn't include those.) So it's more of a technical SEO book. The important items were covered, "make sure you have correct keywords for your business. Make sure those are in the title tag, h1 tag, content, images, etc"Ninja Outreach was a good find also for finding content and trends. What did I not like about it?Again, it was annoying to keep being reminded not to do black hat seo.Who would I recommend this book to?People who want to learn about SEO and need to get a more solid foundation of knowledge to implement the strategies and tactics needed to get to the first page of Google.

Great book. Very well written and points out the differences between old strategies and new ones. I've not finished it but already have seen my rank rise after implementing the strategies within which I would not have otherwise been aware of as being so important now.

Great book on relevant seo practices for 2017
Great book on relevant SEO practices for 2017. I didn't realize all the mistakes I was making until I read this book, unfortunately I now have to go back and do an entire audit on my site to undo a lot of the bad SEO habits that I been practicing which I learned from reading other books...and these were recent SEO books. Ugh, I really hate seo.

Everything that Andy does is top-notch. This update to his SEO series was no exception. The continued take-away from any honest SEO book is that ranking a site is a difficult process that will require a good deal of your time. If you are looking for a fast ranking strategy you will not find one. As he points out in some detail, the days of simple tricks to get over on Google are long gone. But, if you are up for the challenge, this book will give you what you need. As for myself, I think its time to investigate and learn more about paid ads. I just don't have the strength left to do hand to hand combat with the search engines.
