These were soft in your hands. I used them to wire Christmas decorations into the tree and secure layers of garland together. They work well and are easy enough to unwrap if needed.

This might not be the typical use you’d expect, but we needed a way to create small, visually appealing temporary arboreal enclosures for our jumping spiders. We cut these pipe cleaners in half, wound them up, and stretched them out to create climbing frames for the baby spiders. They love climbing on them while hunting the flightless fruit flies that crawl around the pipe cleaners.It’s a unique idea for jumping spiders, but it's fascinating to watch them webbing up their new homes!
