Does what says on the tin.
With the incoming ‘energy security’ making itself apparent, I looked into solar generators as a way to give me an option. This unit seemed well priced. I notice that the prices seem to be going up with all of these units across the board. It’s not going to run your heavier items eg kettles etc. but pretty much anything under 2kw will run with no problems. The heavier loads will draw it down quickly. I used and air fryer for about one hour and the battery went from 95% to 37%. So be realistic is my advice. That said, smaller loads, fridges, tv’s, Wi-Fi, phones and laptops etc can expect to be covered for much longer periods. I was also quite impressed with the solar panels kit that came with it. I set it up on a sunny day and in around five hours the power was back up at 95%. It’s a much quicker charge if you do it from the mains, so a plugged in unit will provide some fall back if the lights go out for a spell. If you are looking to off set bills by using solar, that will require some effort and reasonable weather. It’s not too difficult to set the solar panels up but it is a bit of a faff as the Velcro supports are a little flimsy. It would not be difficult to see a more permanent solar array charging it to run some fixed items eg all the home entertainment etc as a way of off setting the cost. Plenty of sockets, outlets and a simple interface is a plus. The fans are a little noisy, but not excessive. Still playing with it but so far so good. As others have mentioned. It’s likely to be delivered in two packages. I had a bit of a problem as the main unit was sent to a ‘drop off point’. I wasn’t made aware of it for a few days. The folks at all power were helpful though and it got sorted. I can see this as a capable back up domestically, and a game changer for campers that want the off grid experience without the off grid grief. There are bigger and arguably better on the market but they are not cheap and the prices are going up. It does what it says on the tin.

Works well.
Works really well, quiet, robust, clear, understandable screen, not too heavy and handles make it easier. Charges easily on mains or solar panels ( dull day in October took 5 hours to fully charge ) used it for starlink Internet dish and router, smart TV, fire stick, dvd, and light , full power for over 8 hours. ( testing for power cut in home ) . A great asset for the winter months.

Neat bit of kit
What with the looming threat of power outages this Winter in the UK I decided to get one of these. I opted for this model as it fitted the bill with what I need and it also looks good too. The first one shipped to me arrived on time and I fully charged it. I later found out that the AC outlets were dead! The DC USB+Car sockets were all fine. I reported this and Allpowers Support shipped a replacement unit within the week. This new unit works fine on AC. I only intend to use it for just keeping the essentials going like household lighting, fridge freezer, central heating etc. I have now tested the output and on a full charge it will quite happily run all of the above at between 50 to 400 watts depending on what is running at any given time. The unit has enough surge power to start the fridge freezer motor which is excellent and after about 4 hours of testing the charge had dropped to around 30%. All in all pleased with my purchase but time will tell.

Good but flawed
Hi, Ordered to head off any winter power cuts. Plus, I reckon these will become scarce soon as everyone does the same. Arrived in good time - separate generator and panel delivery as people have noted - don't worry. Stopped as the instructions said and charged up from the wall to 100%. Charged a few gadgets including laptop, phone, other backup batteries. Worked fine. App worked fine as well. Not much to it. Then it all went Pete Tong. First bit of sun, unpacked the 200W panels. Found my multimeter and was getting 19-20V and 0.9-1.2A = 20W ish. Dull ish day. Plugged into the front yellow port - nothing. Tried all the usual - cover the panel then big reveal - jumped adequately. Checked all the connectors twice. Nothing. Finally, went to my van and plugged the supplied 12v charger cable into the cig socket and started van. Checked the power with meter - fine. Plugged into the front yellow port - nothing. Not much use if you can't solar charge so going back. V disappointed as was a good price. No real option to just get a replacement generator and keep the panels either. :-(. Seems to be a common fault... Update: replacement battery pack now arrived - works fine. Happy again. Bought a Xunata 15m strip light for the garage with no direct power. Can work on the CBR during the winter now...:-)

Brilliant!
Brilliant product, very much as described. Set up and charged via mains upon arrival (as suggested), then used the next day, working from home, totally off the generator, all laptops , phones etc.... Used about 50%. Then set up the next day to power up via solar, very easy to set up, and although a very cloudy day was still charged to full in a matter of hours. Then trialed its' "usefullness" by doing the ironing, had already charged laptops, so down to 88%, did the ironing (2600W iron), dropped down to 50%, outside for solar charging, sunny day and in a couple of hours fully charged. So during the week will be set up to charge from solar whilst working from home and use at night times for "other" uses. Can see this being a major component of our power in the future, so saving a fortune on electric, and a major bonus for power cuts. And looking forward to being able to use this in the camper van. Depending on how you're going to use this, we've found that we do need a solar extension, which customer service are sorting for us. Very, very happy with the purchase, wish we'd done this earlier! and customer service excellent. Absolutely Brilliant!!
