Apply velcro loops to the area on the cape near a bar to prevent it from rising in a stiff wind. The outside is 50%-50% polyester cotton and the lining is 100% nylon Taslan, which feels like a silky cotton. This cape is machine washable on warm. It is not waterproof. In purple, burgundy, navy, charcoal, heather gray, and hunter green. The Taslan lining comes out of the wash with an interesting crinkly texture. It does not shrink in warm water and a warm dryer.
