excellent collection of trivia fun facts
paul paquet, a known entity in the trivia world, has a history off writing entertaining and engaging trivia questions, so i was excited to receive his _brain boosting trivia for adults_. it did not disappoint: the book is positively filled with well-researched fun facts that are thoughtfully presented as peppy, concise questions and amusing “did you know” blurbs._brain boosting trivia for adults_ features a variety of question styles (multiple choice, true/false, sequencing, and others) in four overarching categories: animals and nature; arts and literature; food and drink; and sports and world history. the questions themselves are nicely varied in terms of subject matter, difficulty level, and humorousness. on one page, i was tested on what i could remember about physics formulae; on another, i learned about a harlequin-style romance novel featuring a fast-food icon. delightful.answers are gathered in the back of the book instead of immediately next to the questions, which i appreciated because it meant i didn’t accidentally spoil myself on answers.an introductory section called “how to use this book” includes instructions for both solo and group play. i tested the book’s group-playability out during the winter holidays with my family. even though the book is marketed to adults, my niece and nephew were able to get in on the fun and show off some of their own pop-culture knowledge.overall, this is an excellent collection of trivia questions.

Bought as a gift.....then another for us
Bought as a gift. Bought another for ourselves. The questions are great and interesting and varied, but the method of looking up the answers is terrible. Half the time with this book is spent looking up the answers . It's difficult. It's a shame because the content is excellent, but to look up who is right is time consuming. If the publisher can improve that, then this rating would go up to five solid stars.

DIFFICULT TO USE
Not helpful in preparing trivia questions for local trivia night. The book was difficult to use so I threw it away and ordered others. Questions on one page and answers sever pages later made it difficult to use.
