Really nice, and light.
I'm impressed. Was between this, nemo, some dyneema pole tents, and for the weight and what I needed, this made by far the most sense. If something happens out of warranty I'll be buying another.

Cheap zippers
I did a lot of research before purchasing the MSR 3 person Huba Huba tent. I received the tent with the Garage August 27. Set the Huba Huba for the first time September 8 as I’m leaving for a camping trip September 15. The tent was easy to set up. The first time I unzipped the rain fly door the zipper came completely off as I zipped the door closed. Very cheap zippers akin to what would be used on dress pants. Now I’m going to be in warranty hell. And filling up a landfill nearby. I was going use this tent for a motorcycle trip up the Dawson Highway next year. I’ve sent an email to MSR support with no reply.Update: I managed to fix the zipper. The bottom of zipper wasn’t sown in to a fold . I managed to stuff the end of the zipper into the fold like the other door zipper and glued it.I finally went on my vacation from Ohio through South Dakota, Colorado and Kansas. 12 day trip. Everything was good until the last night. I was setting up the tent the last night in Kansas . One of the aluminum inserts that holds the pole sections together had somehow disappeared off the shock corded pole sections. It was the smaller cross pole so the tent still set up.I’m wondering if MSR put defective tents for sale on Amazon at a much lower price to get rid of them ?I did a lot of research before buying this tent. Big Agnes was the other choice I came with.MSR Hubs Huba3 tent is huge disappointment. I recently purchased MSR motorcycle jacket and pants and totally satisfied. The tent not so much.

Overall great tent for the weight
I was looking for a hardcore lightweight tent for 10 day river fishing expeditions and this tent got er done. Easy to set up, lots of room, packs small and light. Shedded extensive rain. A few design overlooks in my view: no gear pockets inside; vestibules are small and fly door must be fully closed to prevent rain from hitting tent, which prevent airing out if you have to pack it wet; fly zipper has several velcro closures which in my view are overkill and prevent you from unzipping fly with one hand if you’re in a hurry to ditch gear inside in the rain. For these reasons I rated it 4 stars.

Defective tent pole segment & no response from MSR
I Initially really liked this tent BUT found a defective tent pole segment on my 3rd use. Specifically: bought it in Aug 2024, used it successfully for two 1-nighters in Sep 2024, then didn't use it for 6 months due to winter, then ran into this problem on my 3rd use, a 3-nighter in March 2025. The defect is that one of the small metal connector segments slipped inside its tent pole segment (see pics) so it doesn't brace and I had to improvise a splint. Back home, I was able to push and pry the metal connector segment back out, but it will still need a permanent splint. Contacted Cascade Designs/MSR but got no response in 3 weeks despite followup efforts. Their "customer service" phone number only refers back to their webpage, no live person answers. Come on MSR, do better! If I ever get a satisfactory response (like repair or replacement of the tent pole assembly), I'll improve my review to 4 stars. I did like the size, weight, price, rectangular floor (as opposed to tapered) and that it has 2 doors/2 rain fly porches (1 on each side). It fit 3 adults or 2 adults+1 large dog comfortably.

Tent arrived with defective poles
The tent was missing several of the joint sections that enable the poles to connect together. I submitted a warranty claim with MSR, but the only response I've seen from MSR was an automated email stating they will review the claim. No follow-up was ever sent.Other than the factory defect, the tent seems well made and it is exceptionally lightweight. Unfortunately, I will have to return it.

Great tent for backpacking!
Loved the tent for 2 people! (that's why we got the 3 person so not crunched at all and room for some gear!) Super easy to set up. Have to buy a separate footprint for it though. Overall, kept us warm and dry in rainy weather. It appears very well made and has held up well! I did a lot of research prior to buying this tent. Worth the cost! It's light but i split the weight with who I was backpacking with.

Avoid MSR products
Bought this tent in august and problems with all the pôles connectors making this expensive tent not usable. No return on mails or phone by Cascade Design after 3 months of trying to get in Touch! If you look on the reviews on their web site, same comments by other customers…Just don’t get the same trouble, star away of MSR tents!
