My wife absolutely loves her new felting tool and has been making good use of it!

After forking out $150+ on this quality German product, I read the reviews written on another ad for the same tool... OOPsie - yet another life lesson? I hope not - I purchased this as a gift for my wife, an avid wool-felter. She did think the product might last longer than the six months most reviewers gave it, she can usually spot quality. I will return to revise my review (three stars at this time) after she is able to use the machine - she has other projects at this moment. She liked it when she pulled it out of the box, give us some time...Updated - The machine worked for ten minutes. Amazon shipping a replacement... Mama's not exactly happy - she says the machine is a godsend, but she wants to be able to rely on it... I'll be back...Update2 - The replacement arrived earlier than promised, Amazon made it really easy to swap these units out, thanks, Amazon! My wife will be working with the tool this week, we will let you know how it goes.Update3 - The replacement is working perfectly, no issues this time. My wife loves this tool, we did purchase some leather 'thimbles' (search: "5 Pairs Needle Felting Leather Finger Protector Knitting Random Color Thumb Index Finger Thimble for Wool Felting") and she really likes those, has not brutalized her fingers since we bought them. Yes, this tool is simply a tattoo gun, loud and vibrates a lot, but it's only doing what it is designed to do. It will wear out, and we will purchase another when it does. This is only manufactured by one company in the world, so they set the price... $$$
