Nice, a perfect fit for my Estwing 13 oz pick
This is a very nice sheath for my Estwing 13 oz pick. It snaps easily on and off and covers the pick from pointed tip to hammer. It makes storing and carrying the tool so much safer and keeps my bag from being damaged. It has a built in ring to attach to a belt if needed and the sheath is very well constructed and built to last. It would be nice if the picks came with the sheath as a package deal, instead of having to purchase one separately.

It’s legit
The rock pick I got is very sharp. Throwing it in a tool bag seems silly, and having a way to keep this thing on your belt is great. Very sturdy materials in the sheath, so color me impressed. As a working man, I respect the quality of this sheath. Worth getting!

Very nice!
It fits my 22oz Estwing rock hammer like a glove. Excellent quality! Stitched and riveted. Very Heavy Duty, Should last a life time. The snaps are quite stiff and take a little practice getting them to snap and open easily. Once you learn the correct method, (pull the cover down over the snap buttons holding the top of the snap to the edge of the bottom snap and kind of roll the top of it onto the bottom) It's a snap. I would much prefer tight snaps than to loose my hammer on a hike.

Great protection, well made
If you're a safety nerd like me, this is a really nice protective cover for the pick hammer. The point dulls pretty quickly after use against rocks; but, you still have the belt loop feature so you can use your hands to carry all of those rocks home! The snaps and material are very sturdy and seem like they will last a long time

Sturdy construction
Fits the 22oz Estwing pick really well. Made well- it’s sturdy and will probably last a long time.My only complaint is that it can be difficult to snap closed when worn/used on a belt.

Got this to go along with an Estwing geological hammer/pick. Perfect fit, very sturdy and obviously a quality sheath. I expect this to last for many years.

Generational Estwing Hammer owners
The Estwing rock hammer is a generational "gift" in our family. Husband is a geologist, his sister, now deceased ave him his Estwing hammer in 1969, my mom gave our sons their Estwing at the ages of 8 and 11. NOW we have a grandson, Will, who received his Estwing hammer this year at 8! All Estwing hammers are as strong, dependable and rock worthy as Will's new one!
