This is exactly what I wanted- down filling to refill a pillow. I am pretty particular about pillows for sleeping- I like a flat squishy pillow. I have a couple down pillows that I've had forever that were getting just a little too flat. I tried to purchase new ones, but it is near impossible to find flat squishy down sleeping pillows- so I decided to try to restuff the ones I have. I purchased allergy reducing pillow covers (with zippers, although I did see some actual pillow covers that you could sew up here on Amazon), put a small hole in the existing cover and refilled them to my liking, sewing up the hole when I was done. The product that arrived was perfect! I must admit, it was a nightmare getting the down where I wanted it to go, and lots of it escaped and made a mess- but that is not the products fault. The down was nice quality with no odd smell- it worked perfectly for what I needed and I have quite a bit left over.

Bought this for my husbands old, flat as a pancake, feather pillow he refused to let me replace. I made a small opening & put over half this large bag inside his old pillow (plenty of feathers left over). It is like new! Very plump & soft, he is so happy. BUT....heed the advice of previous reviewers & do it outside (so glad I did) - it is very messy, little pieces of feathers everywhere.

Arrived quickly , well packed, encased in quality pillow ticking.With 3/4lbs I was able to fill a 9” pillow ball to a medium firm density.This quantity can probably refresh two standard size sleeping pillows by its addition.Industry code allows for up to 20% variation in ratio of down to feathers claimed by seller.Decent quality with little dust but on the low side of estimate ratio of down to feathers. This product is advertised to be 80% down to 20% feathers. It seems to have more like 65% down in the mix.It fulfilled my need. I purchased three bags.Would be awesome if they added more down to the mix, even at a higher price. Also would be great to have option to order in larger quantities.

I disliked this item simply because the moment I open it feathers went everywhere I don’t know if it was me the tiny pieces of feathers or the packaging but what a mess

Great quality, 3/4 of a pound is actually a lot of down. Used 3/4 lb to add to 2 down pillows with left over. It is a messy project, I did it in a small bathroom, kept the bag of down and the pillow in the bathtub. You have to move very slowly and keep door shut, even breathing blows the down around. But worth every penny.

I bought the 3/4 lb bag to re-stuff a down pillow I've had for a couple years. It was more than enough and has been great to sleep on! It's also cheaper than buying a whole new pillow, which I thought I would have to do. I definitely recommend this.

Bought these to fill my husband's favourite old pillow. He thought I put too much in it so he pulled the feathers out in the garage... the open garage. Our neighbours thought we killed a flock of geese. Days later, there are still feathers flying throughout our neighbourhood. That said...they're super soft and fluffy without pokey stems. And the local geese... well, they are terrified!!!

I ordered 3 lbs of feathers to add to my back cushions. They were enough to bring the cushions to life. HOWEVER, be sure to take your project outside because this is likely one of the messiest DIY projects I've ever done. I made a small slit in my inner cushion covering and kept the neck of the feather container bag just large enough to put my hand in but these little feathers go EVERYWHERE no matter how careful you are. My husband had to blow the porch, my cushions, and ME off with a leaf blower before I could come into the house. With that said, this is a great product. The feathers were clean, without an odor, and brought my old cushions back to life.
