Works with Scotty Cameron Phantom X5
I just received my new weights and weight removal tool. The plan is to replace the factory 15g weights in my 34" putter with 20g weights. The tool and weights are built solid. I checked each of the weights on a scale and they weighed in at 20g each, so they were accurate. I read online the factory weights have a thread locker on them. Some DIYers bend the tool and scratch their putter when removing the factory weights. I saw a recommendation to add heat to break the thread locker free. Some used boiling water, some heatguns, and some torches. I went with the boiling water. Boiled the water in the microwave and pulled it out of the microwave and put my putter in it for about 1.5 minutes. While it was soaking I went and put on my mechanix work gloves, knowing the putter head would be hot. I sat the putter on a rubber mat face up and inserted the tool prongs of the tool into the holes. I applied slow, steady pressure and the first weight broke free. I did the same with the second and it broke free as well. When inserting the new weights I discovered the holes were not as deep as those on the factory weights and the prongs on the tool would not go all the way in; so tool was not flush with the new weights. Knowing this, I was more cautious when inseting the new weights. I inserted the prongs into the weights and put the weights into the threads of the putter. To prevent crossthreading, I turned the weight counterclockwise until it dropped into the threads and then clockwise until it was snug. I tightened hand tight not applying any real torque in fear of bending the tool. The weights sit flush and everything came out fine. No damage to the tool or my putter.

Works for solo and Phantom
Been playing around with the weights not really a good idea, but if you like the tinker, these weights will go in the phantom or Scotty‘s Golo putters
