I have been using this steamer pan and it's perfect for my bamboo steamer.

This is the perfect item to use with the bamboo steamer when you don't want to dig out the wok to steam a meal. The 12 inch steamer fits perfectly on the pan. It is light weight & not as cumbersome as using my big wok to steam food & cleans up easily. I would say it is a must have if you like using the bamboo steamers to prepare food.

the pot works so well with my 12'' bamboo steamer, they work hand in hand. i just wish more stores that sell these Bamboo steamers would also sell the pots also. but they want you to buy wok's in stead, everyone isn't a wok person. my food cooks faster and are more healthier.#steamlife everyone should start to steam their foods for a healthier living.p.s. thank you townfoods for an outstanding product and quick shipping.

I liked that this is large and a perfect fit with the 12 inch bamboo steamer. I am using it to steam-set hand dyed silk. It is large enough that I only have to add a little more water after steaming for 3 hours. Be sure to remove the sticker on the bottom of the pot before placing it on the burner. It is aluminum and will discolor on the inside after using.

This lets me steam without tying up a wok
