EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!
Easy to put together, sturdy, however must be in area with minimum traffic, it's not impregnable, the green fins can be bent, but they are sturdy and can be bent back, however no seed is on the ground eliminating rodent issues for the most part, and seed can be reused, we love this product and wish we could have known about it sooner, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Falls over in the slightest breeze.
I can't understand why bird feeders and seed catchers are never properly thought out. This was expensive but it's rusting after only a few weeks. And the drain holes had to be widened cos they clog up

Not so good in the wet !
Easy to assemble and install. Amazed at how much seed/husk it catches. Only problem is in the wet the seed/husk sticks to the metal leaf sections and the pigeons think itās an exclusive all you can eat buffet, they sit inside it scary off the birds and making the structure unstable as I have it planted in the ground.

Finally...a solution!
I have been frustrated by fallen birdseed sprouting and killing the grass all summer. I tried a different product, which was a mesh tray, of sorts, that was meant to hang from the feeder. When I hung it, as it blew in the breeze, it scared the birds away. It also just didn't seem like it would hold up under a storm. So, I moved it to the ground with a couple of rocks on top to keep it secure. But, within a few days, the birds and squirrels had pecked and torn holes through the mesh. Waste of money, and I still hadn't solved my problem. I finally found this product from Roamwild. I love it! It's very sturdy, has an adjustable height, and doesn't kill the grass beneath. The seed is caught falling from the feeder into a cup that is protected by a metal lid with holes in it. The squirrels can't get into the cup. The cup is easy to remove and empty. Problem solved. The only complaint I have is that the washers that are soldered on the posts for adjusting the height do not hold the screws. I had to use my own washers, which worked fine, but I don't know why the company put on the wrong size washers (or gave me the wrong size screws). Minor annoyance, but would have beeen a big annoyance if I hadn't had my own washers. Overall, a great product that is worth the money if you are serious about protecting your grass.

Needs redesign to keep squirrels out
This product worked well for few months, but the squirrels have learned how to defeat the system. They bend the metal sections and pop the cover off the seed tray. The cover is just a plastic piece that screws on with a metal grill on top that is only attached with some small metal tabs. There arenāt enough threads on the screw top, and it is easily popped off. Each time they pop it of (a daily occurrence), the tabs get bent more and more and they eventually snap off and the metal cover canāt be secured anymore. If you leave the metal cover off, the squirrels canāt pop the plastic piece off anymore, but because itās plastic they just chew through it.To make this more squirrel proof, the product needs to be redesigned to make the funnel a single piece which would make it more resistant to bending. Replacing the screw top with a single piece made of metal with more threads would be helpful as well. With those changes I expect this product could be much more resilient.UPDATE: I modified the cap and I now have the upper hand again against the squirrels. I drilled a hole through the two pieces that make up the cap (easier to start on the black plastic side up through the metal grate). Put a short machine screw through the top with a finishing washer, then secured the bottom with a washer and nut. Because the bolt sticks out, need to also drill a hole in the top of the seed cup. With the top two pieces secured this way, the squirrels aren't unable to pop the top off (so far) and they're no longer bending the metal āpetalsā.
