Not as sharp as I thought
I was really hoping i wouldn't struggle with cutting my kitties nails but I did. These are not as sharp as I thought they would be and after you clip them, you have to use the nail file or the nail splinters will stay attached to the kitty nails. :( luckily the nail file helps with smoothing it out....

Better for bigger dogs?
Loved that there was a file included. Unfortunately, the blades of the nail cutter seemed duller than those I have purchased in the past. When using it on my doberman mix it cut pretty easily. However, when using it on my chihuahua mix, it splintered his nails so I wouldn't recommend it for smaller dogs.

Works quickly, has a safety guard to prevent cutting too deeply
My cat doesn't like to have her nails clipped--and that is an understatement. This device works quickly, before she has a chance to snatch her paw away and possibly get cut. The guard feature within th cutting ring keeps the user from cutting down to the quick. So far, it's been working--with 2 people to perform the operation. The cuts were clean, and I didn't need to use the file. There is also a safety feature that locks the clippers closed when not in use.

Did not stay sharp for long. Also many times the lack would go into place after cutting a nail so you had to move it. With a dog that is not happy with cutting nails that extra time can be a problem.

Don't get unless you're a masochist who hates your pet
I bought these to cut my dog's nails. Let me say up front: these are VERY CHEAP and bludgeon rather than cut nails. They left some with sharp edges, others were cracked, and yet others were bleeding. Bentley didn't even notice I was clipping his nails. Get those instead. The PET CRAZY ones? They're only for crazy owners.

not a clean cut
These clippers don't get a clean cut all the way through my dog's nail, she's a 30 point terror mutt. Maybe they're not sharp enough? They do have a nice feature, a tab on the side on the clip part to prevent you from cutting too much nail off. I do appreciate that feature.

Easy to use, comfortable handle!
Sleek design and easy to use, unlike some similar models. Pet Crazy clippers fit right into your hand and make a clean cut which was great for me because the first time I tried cutting my dog's nails with a different clipper I had a lot of trouble (Bulky, weak spring, splintered nail, and a crying puppy)But this time I was able to avoid the vet (which my dog hates) and gave her a nice trim and file. Highly recommended!
