For the money it is a great buy. Not something I would be be streaming movies from but audio is fine. I mostly used for transferring files and pictures to and from my iPhone and works amazingly. The only draw back that I can really see about is that it does get really hot when plugged in for charging while transferring large files. Also file transfers are pretty quick until you get to large files like about 2gb and up they take a really long time to transfer. Smaller files are very quick but the speed really does fall off once you need to transfer larger files back and forth. I used a Samsung 128gb usb 3.0 drive.

Okay, so I’m a brand new mom, who takes SO many photos and videos of my precious bundle of joy. But, my phone started to slow after a while and I realized that I had used 112.8 of 128GB of memory with most of them being, you guessed, it photos and videos. This product was super easy to use with my phone! Buy it! You won’t regret it.

I tested this card reader using both of my Apple devices. Usually, the files on my CamPark Minicam are smaller, so they seem to load up okay. Well, the files saved in SLP format do. Those filmed in SP mode, or higher quality, seem to be invisible to the card reader.On the Canon,the files seem to be visible, but neither transfer, nor upload for viewing. This, however, is probably due to file size, (2.15 GB, for example.I wish the operating manual was more detailed, but it is adequate, barely.BOTTOM LINEIt is good enough, in many cases, to allow me to upload my videos to my YouTube channel at Red River Loft, where I post my experiences in starting my Racing Homer loft — Four stars out of five.

For those that don't keep everything on the cloud sometimes it is nice to pull files off your Iphone or put them on. This works great for me. I think I just had to download 'files' or something like that from the App store which was free. This made it easy for me to see the thumbdrives that can go into this adaptor.

I transferred about 600 photos plus videos to the drive. That went well. Then I tried to move them to my pc. That’s when the trouble started.Upon opening the usb drive it shows ONLY the instruction manual in five different languages. No pics. No videos. Nada.I call Amazon for support as per prompt on Amazon site. No help.Meanwhile I get a representative who seemed to think I was just trying to get one over. While I was waiting for her to see if there was any support for this item I got the not so bright idea to delete them from the drive so I could send it back empty.The pics were still showing on my phone and it hadn’t reduce my memory at all so I figured it was safe. WRONG! ALL em gone…in a flash.While every other app under the sun saves things in triplicate these days so ya have to discard them multiple times ….this was a one and done thing. AND it wiped out both the pics and videos even though I had checked only the pics.BEWARE. If you try it…test it with only one pic first. Maybe I got a dud.But some things can’t be replaced. =(UPDATE….turns out my pics got sent to my trash bin so thankfully I was able to retrieve them. And they did give me a refund. BUT in the process of trying to move them from the flash drive to my pc it indicated I needed to download the Luv-share app….I never did get it downloaded but I did end up with something that I can remove from my computer. It doesn’t appear to be a virus but it’s still very unsettling. It was some kind of webcompanion but it won’t install and I can’t remove it cause it’s trying to install. =? Yeah. =|

I was very happy with this product. I continue to max out the space on my phone and this has taken care of the problem for me. Love the color choices too!

This device does what it suppose to but it is not an Apple original accessory so it has its quirks. The finish is nice, it looks great and it works, but.... If you can only plug it one way, the other way it introduces static sound to the music, best to set the device on a table and don't touch the phone while using this device. Although it also has an USB C charging port, when I connected the charger via that port at the same time I was streaming music via the USB A port, the whole unit got very hot, I had to disconnect the charger, so I wouldn't charge via this device, use it only for data transfer/streaming and connect it the one way that it likes best. It is a bit pricey at $13.

J'ai acheté cette clé pour stocker les photos de vacances. La notice indique bien comment l'utiliser, et le produit correspond à la description. Il y a une bonne capacité de stockage. Le seul point négatif, c'est parfois le temps de transfert des photos et videos qui peut être un peu long.

J’ai acheté cette clé car mon ordinateur n’a pas beaucoup de mémoire. Elle me permet de la brancher directement sur mon téléphone et de mettre mes photos dessus sans passer par un ordinateur. Elle est vraiment très pratique !
