I was given a sample of Gnarly from a race so I tried it . It had all the ingredients that runners like and the calories too ! It tasted good and I had no cramping or stomach issues on long runs .

Summited Mount Baker with this in my nalgene. Great experience with sustained energy and taste of the product. My pee did turn bright orange. Freaked me out at first but I realized there was something in the nutrition that caused it and it was not due to dehydration.

I saw a lot of ads for this new sports fuel/electrolyte. I bought the limeade flavor which is something I was hoping to really like. I am comparing this product up to the likes of companies such as Crank Sports Efuel, Tailwind, Karbolyn, Vitargo, Hammer, Maurten, UCan, EFS, and Scratch High Carb. I'd say the taste is at the bottom of the list. Way worse than Crank Sports Efuel, Vitargo, and Scratch High Carb which I like. Performance, it didn't stand out in giving me great energy. It was sufficient in performance in fueling me and replenishing electrolytes but I can get that from other products and not have to resent the taste. It did mix well and was priced fair but I am a believer that a product should be more palatable. Some people might like the taste or may not mind the flavor but this product tasted far from limeade to me and I drink all kinds of Limeades. Maybe their other flavors are better or maybe just their electrolyte version of drinks taste different but I am not shelling out more money to take on that experiment. I'll use up what I have in workouts but not using this on race day. My honest take, if you want a quick energy carb for workouts like intervals and that tastes good go for Vitargo and if you want a slower release carb for endurance sports try Scratch High Carb. The all purpose drink I like most would be Crank Sports Efuel.

My order had an expiration of 6/2021 (essentially 1 year prior to the order). Not a great thing for food product.

Good product, definitely one of the better ones. Four stars for now as i have not experienced success during a race.

Purchased the product and when I received them they had expired! Not impressed

I purchased this product. It can and all of the hydration packets had expired several months earlier. I reached out to Gnarly questioning their quality control. Their exact words was even the best makes mistakes. They told me to through them out and they would replace them, which they did with expired packets. When I reached out to the two gurus there about the second set of expired packets they never replied. Not a type of company that I would ever do business with.

Tastes horrible
