I don't have a 128, only a 16gb, and it does have a flashing light, but on one side only

I can't say for sure, as I have neither tried it nor read the TV manual. If the TV records to a USB memory device, the device is formatted to the standard the TV requires, and the device capacity does not exceed the TV's limits, there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

It is just a usb stick you can plug into a device (eg computer). You can plug in an sd card separately into a device and a usb stick like this one to transfer files that way
