Ditch those expensive bottles
Bought as a present for my friend. Goes from big economical tanks to cook stoves. Ditch those 8 dollar tiny bottles forever with a big tank and this hose. Will need an adapter fitting depending on your application from hardware store.

You need to update your older regulators
It's works fine with the newer Coleman camp stoves. However the valve is too deep for the older stoves-- the pin on the regulator is not long enough to trip the valve. You have to update your regulator, which is like 15 bucks.

ok if you follow the rules
We used this to connect a 20# tank to a portable grill to avoid changing out the 1# Coleman cans. The first one we bought, of a different brand, lasted years. This lasted months. To be honest though, we do NOT turn off the propane at the tank, seems like we should start as it developed a leak in less than 6 months.
