The 16mm works perfect for holding a measuring tape (12, 16, and 25 foot) to metal toolbox. Using the rest is going to be harder. They are too strong to use without a handle of some sort.#6 machine screw fits through the ones that were glued in alignment but some are off and won't pass through both magnet and shell. Looks like a 1/8 or m3 will fit.

great magnets with lots of holding power. Made a holder for my wood working planes and used these to secure the planes to the holder to prevent them from slipping off. am very happy with the way they work and the fact that there is a hole with mounting screw provided is an added plus for mounting.

Very strong. Using for Cosplay costume

Made a saw dust bin with shop vac attachment for under my table saw. Bought these small magnets to use for cover plates on the cabinet to block open areas and enhance air flow to the vacuum. Fit perfectly in a ½ inch hole in ¼ inch plywood. Secured to backing strips (handles) using the provided screws. Magnetic grip is strong and hols the panels on the saw securely. Works great.

Pluses first: perfect size for my application; very strong for the size––again, just right for my intended use. (Also: shipped very quickly.) Here's why I'm dinging one star: The hole for attaching the magnet is quite small. Indeed, it will NOT accommodate a #6 screw––and that's a fairly skinny screw size (most screws you'll see will be #8 and up). I tried to drill out the hole: not happening. Tough metal in there. So, I will attach by way of either epoxy or superglue. That will be good enough, but screwing these on would be way better. Some screws are, admittedly, provided, but too short for my application. FYI: the provided screws are quite small, and will only bite into wood about 7/16" deep––not much holding power for a very skinny screw. You will have to decide if, in your application, the screw can hold as much weight as the magnet. In hardwood, maybe; in softwood, I would not count on it over time, if at all.

I used these on a project perfect little magnets very strong.

Screws included. Holds magnet fast. I used them to hang battery powered lights in my off grid cabin. The lights have magnets built in but they were very weak. These hold the lights very securely.
