I've always used relaxer box kits for full head or retouches and I guess it never occurred to me that I could just buy the relaxer by itself, but here it is. So this paired with a neutralizing shampoo (a must) is a way more affordable option than continuously buying relaxer kits and I can use as little or as much as I need. I will agree with a lot of the reviews about making sure you keep track of the timing because I did start to feel it a little bit more quickly than box kits which I could usually leave on for 10 -15 minutes. This one I was at like 5 minutes and I started to feel it and washed it out. But all in all I think this is a great purchase.

Good relaxer

Picked up for daughters friend who was trying to relax her hair. A couple meds made her hair resistant to relaxing. I thought of be a very and find a product that could do the job. When this product arrived, I looked at the ingredients more carefully and check them on the web. Sure enough there were one or more ingredients that were considered carcinogenic and dangerous to use, so this went back immediately. I'd be very careful using this product because of that issue. There are a lot of other avenues to pursue before you put something on your head that's potentially dangerous. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! AND QUITE HONESTLY I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY AMAZON EVEN SELLS THIS.
