I love this Energizer rechargable lantern. It is so easy to charge, it is quite bright and it has a very long battery life. It is very lightweight and has so many uses. I can carry it outside at night to the firepit and it illuminates my path all around the yard. It is better than a flashlight because the light goes 360 degrees around you. If the light is too bright, you can select the dimmer setting. There is also a setting for a blinking light if you choose. You can hang it up to light up a room or area using the top handle or the cleverly placed carabiner type hook on the bottom of the base. This would be great for camping. Best of all, you never have to replace the batteries and you don't have to worry about batteries corroding inside if it is not use for some time. Simply charge it up again. I will be very glad to have this if and when the electricity ever goes out.

Power went out for 24hrs not long after receiving. Had it on for several hours that night and it lit up the kitchen/living area well. Like the warm light mode as it is easy on the eyes. Could do without the strobe. Unfortunately I didn’t notice that it was not usb-c as I am trying to consolidate everything to usb-c. Worth the $13 I paid for it though.

The design IMO isn't great but build quality seems okay, time will tell how it holds up. Some reviews mention short battery life, hope I didn't receive one of those. I think another review said the bottom can open up and the 18650 Li-Ion batteries inside can be replaced, but I'm not sure. I haven't tested run time, and don't know if the battery drains while the is light off in standby. Surprisingly it came with no operating instructions so I will include some here:-- 1. Charge before use by opening the small flap on the side and plugging in a USB cable with a microUSB plug, included with light but appears to be generic. You need to provide the USB charger, none included. After plugging in the power, the light's round power button on the side will light up red, and turn to green when charging is done.-- 2. Turn light on by clicking on the power button. It turn on full brightness, which is probably close to it's claim 1000 lumins, white light color appears to be about 6000K. Do not look at the light when turning it on, it's blindingly bright. Click button again within a couple of seconds to switch to lower level (maybe 100 to 200 lumens?), and warmer color at probably around 3000K. Click button again within a couple of seconds to switch to bright white blinking mode. Clicking the button after about three seconds will turn it off.-- 3. The plastic lens, jointed at the light green band at the middle of the light, can be removed by turning counter clockwise for brighter light when hanging upside down. It is a little brighter, but for me not enough to worth the glare that results with the lens removed.-- 4. The bottom cap can be twisted off easily to reveal another cover held down by small screws, below which are the batteries. I didn't open it to see what exactly is inside.

Love it so much, bought 4 more. It light's up an entire room. Charged quickly, soft bright light, brightness settings. Putting one in my car, also can charge it in the car. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stares I would!

They are bright. Will definitely come in handy and already used them through one power outage. Good value so when on sale and bought 3.

After so many horrid storms this year in Florida, I realized I needed more substantial lighting. This may be small but mighty with light works. Most of them were too harsh. The light reflection that was too hard to look at. This one has a soft cover around the led bulb, so much better. The light is more than sufficient for a wide area of lighting. Compact, uses batteries or can be recharged. I think I will be adding a few more to my arsenal of “just in cases”.

We've been using one of these for a couple of seasons now and many nights out camping, plus occasional use at home. The power bank output is a nice touch, the light is bright, it dims nicely, and it runs a long time when dimmed. This lantern has completely replaced our old propane lantern, though we do keep a Li-Ion power station around to charge it back up when out camping.My only minor quibble about this is the charging input port - keep track of that little cable that comes with it, because not all micro USB cables fit correctly in the port - it seems like it's recessed just a bit too far.
