Leather Shepherd Sling Handmade Paracord Shepherds Old-Fashioned Slingshot Tennis Ball Thrower

Great quality! We actually used this as part of my son’s school project to build a trebuchet and it worked out great as a sling pouch to hold the tennis balls we were launching! The workmanship and materials were great just like the product images show.

Very fun to use!

The basket is very nicely made, but the rest is crudely tied with 550 cord. With just a little more effort into this sling, it would be 5 stars! Other than that, it worked well enough for my 5-year-old to use it.

Nicely made H or Butterfly Pouch sling, with extra touches like grommeted cord holes at the ends, and decorative stitching, and adequately long paracord for the release and retention cords -- so you can adjust the sling length to suit you. The leather of the pouch is strong yet flexible, which is always a good thing. Almost ready out of box, it only took a couple minutes to tie a retention finger loop in one cord and a release knot on the other cord an equal distance along. So far I've flung a couple hundred rocks with this sling comparing it to similar pouches of my own construction and others. Very nice indeed. It handles light ammo like 3 ounce gold balls to rocks twice that heavy easily, and small railroad ballast pebbles to larger than tennis ball sizes as well. Because the design is forgiving, this is a good choice for a neophyte slinger to start with.

Here is your present: you're like, “you know what, I've always wanted to learn how to use a sling,” and you see it's cheap, so you say to yourself, “why not,” and you buy it. Here is your future: you get the sling, you go give it a try, you use a small rock or a tennis ball, you're like “yeah, I guess this is kinda cool,” and you throw some more stuff for 10 more minutes. Then you get bored and do something else. Then six or so months later, you ask your friend to get some batteries from the junk drawer, and he opens the drawer and says, “dude, what the hell is this thing?” holding up the sling and then you say, “It's an SNM Bikini for your mom.” Then you both laugh, close the drawer, and go get stoned on the couch, lamenting that you couldn't find new batteries for the remote. That's about it. So yeah, buy this sling because you want to. Now Let's take a moment to acknowledge that I wrote a review for a sling and that you chose to read it.

Fun product. Basic quality, cheap paracord.

I liked the way this sling felt and preformed. It is fairly easy to use and hard to master. This type of sling can generate a lot of velocity when hurling a golf ball size rock a few hundred feet. One has to be aware of their surroundings so as not to cause physical injury or property damage. this is fun to use.

Amazing. I never knew I needed this. By the third throw I had it almost down pat. I've been playing ball with my pup and it takes the pain from my shoulder from a traditional throw, Plus the distance, wow. Very pleased to support a small business. Keep up the great work.

The Parallel Halo Leather Shepherd Sling is brilliantly good. The grandchildren having been slinging small tennis balls about the back yard having a lot of fun, and the dog is in seventh heaven.

Son in law loves it .. goes far!

Resized the sling to 30 inches total leaving it in a medium sized sling class. Works very well with aerodynamic ammo. Make sure you research size classes and how arm length affects performance.
