My bag size 16”wide x 23”tall x 10”deep (can be closer to 11 deep if extra zipper is let out)I was looking for a thick, well made luggage skin to mostly protect from handlers opening my zippers w a pen (even though I use a TSA lock) and stealing contents. Lastly some protection from scuffs after being tossed around and a deterrent for luggage thieves taking my usually unnoticeable black bag and walking away from the carrousel (ie a thief might think “not taking THAT one cause everyone will notice 😊).The skin is sturdy, lined with a second stretch material. The two openings at the top have bias that is well sewn on and openings fit appropriately in the places for the telescopic strap and cloth handle. It was very easy to slip on and just snug enough to cover the whole suitcase including the edges at the bottom. The heavy plastic zipper meets perfectly for my size suitcase (no sagging) and black straps from bottom sides cover it when snapped together.Color and design are not too garish (my husband asked why I didn’t get plain black—-until I explained it was subtle enough for him to use and feel manly 😊) and easy enough to spot on the luggage carrousel. Price was GREAT especially since it was so well made. I ordered a MEDIUM. I had also ordered a Large in case the M Was too small but never even opened that package when it came since the M fit perfectly. Returning the L today. I LOVE it so far. Leaving tomorrow and will update after I return from this trip!UPDATE 19 August 2024: pictures 1&2 are after one flight, pictures 3&4 are after a second. It got mildly scuffed up but I am definitely pleased w the outcome. It protected my suitcase and am convinced an airline employee who might want to break into it would be dissuaded because of having to remove it. I am very happy w the purchase!

I used this cover one time and when I arrived at my destination one day later the zipper would not unzip. I had not previously tried to unzip it before I left home. It did not appear damaged in any way. My luggage was trapped in the cover. I used a seam ripper to rip out the seam/stitching line along the zipper to get the piece of luggage out. Who knew a manicure kit came with a seam ripper? It is a brand new suitcase with a brand new cover and we were traveling internationally with lots of flights. Then I went to Target and got some stick-on Velcro to use for the rest of the trip (32 additional days). Certainly not a long term solution but it got us through but the velcro did keep coming partially loose as it was not stitched. if not for the elastic strap to take the stress off the velcro it would have all been worthless. Needless to say this needs to be replaced now. I have had multiple of your covers and this is the first time this has happened. TWO of the other covers for my two 26 inch suitcases did not do well as they were too big and I have replaced those after 2 trips each due to catching on things causing them to get torn. Two others fit my 29 inch size and 22 inch sized suitcases perfectly and performed well although I have only used those on one trip each so far. I was super excited because you now make a size that actually fits my 26 inch luggage and then this happened. If not for the new size I would have gone to a different company. The other cover for our other 26 in bag I ordered that now fits well did great and performed as I hoped. I am going to order one more cover for this second 26 inch bag with the broken zipper but I would like this to be my last order for awhile..... it would be great to have these covers last more than 2 trips. If not then the next order will be to a different company. Would this zipper issue be covered under any type of warranty? I am awaiting a response from the company.

These are great. Ugly but great. I don't want people stealing my suitcase and this does the trick.

I bought these covers for 3 bags. Absolutely zero problem finding our bags from across the airport carousel. Our bags successfully made it round trip twice without damage to the bag. The covers held up very well and will be able to be used for future trips. We received a few compliments on the design.The side zippered holes are on both sides so the cover can accommodate whichever side has the side handle on the bag. I suggest keeping that zipper unzipped so baggage handlers don't rip the cover to find a grip when hauling it around.The only thing that I would change, it's difficult knowing what is the front vs back. It makes a difference so the handle and the telescopic handles are lined up through the correct holes.

I bought this cover to keep the hip belt of my new High Sierra Powerglide Pro Backpack intact. The zipper keeping the hip belt flat isn't as secure as I would like and wanted something to keep it from unzipping or getting ripped if caught on something while traveling.This cover fits the backpack perfectly! I do not care if it fades. As long as it stays on, I just need it to keep parts where they are supposed to be and keep the backpack clean. Right now it looks great! Looking forward to the next trip!
