Great tool for practicing the clinical side of conversational spanish. The telenovela is a great layer for breaking up your learning. I highly recommend.

I was scared to order my Spanish book from Amazon but I do not regret it. The book is in perfect condition, basically a new book.

This book was in great condition and came in a decent amount of time.

Rented the book for a Medical Spanish class. The book consists of very basic terminology and doesn't adress medical terms that you would use in a hospital setting. I felt I wasted my money on the book since everything was extremely basic as a Spanish speaker. This is definitely for someone who is new to the language.

This book is alright, I find the exercises to be a bit redundant and not supported by the previous lesson. Leaving you feeling like a fish out of water "or the ham in a sandwich"

Book and CD came very soon after I purchased. Everything was brand news and I was very pleased with my purchase.

The self-directed learning that comes along with this book include some websites. One of which is no longer supported and does not work (Recursos website). (I e-mailed the textbook company and they acknowledged that they stopped supporting the website.) Due to this, I am not sure if the course will be complete. I am taking this class for credit at my medical school. I suspect that I can work my way around the textbook without using the website. Nevertheless, it is unfortunate that the textbook refers the student/learner to review material on their website before completing exercises in their textbook and the website does not work.
