100% Cotton Paper That Sets a Standard
I use this 100% cotton stock for important documents like Certificates of Authenticity that also get embossed, and it delivers a truly professional finish. The weight and texture feel substantial in hand, and the cotton content ensures durability and an unmistakable quality you simply don’t get from ordinary paper. Ink holds beautifully with no bleed-through, and embossing looks crisp and sharp. This is not paper you’d ever want to waste on everyday printing—but when you’re sending something that matters, this is the stock to use. Don’t cut corners with office paper for customer-facing documents. If you want something that feels important and lasts, this is as good as it gets. Five stars.

A high quality watermarked bond that can take a fountain pen
You wouldn't think a type of paper would need a review on Amazon or anywhere else. That's the whole Dunder-Miffflin joke. It's paper. But if you write with a fountain pen, you know that certain papers are finished in a manner that they can take ink without "feathering" or bleeding through. This is one of those papers. If you are looking for a classy paper for correspondence, or for documents that need a certain gravitas, this is a good choice. I was using it this morning with a fountain pen and fairly wet inks (Fountain Pen Revolution Basic Black, Birmingham Pen Company's Emerald Tree Monitor). Feathering was well controlled, the ink had a great line on the page, the pen did not pick up much if any fiber from the page. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience from the writer's point of view. More expensive than Staples copy paper, but worth it if you have the need, which I do, for something other than a laser or inkjet sheet.

The Absolute Best Paper I Have Ever Purchased!!
Recently, I made a life-changing career decision, by deciding on learning how to start my very own non-profit organization. Throughout the learning process, I have began drafting a few of the important documents that are crucial to the success of a non-profit. Because these documents are really important to me, and those who will be working with me, I decided these documents shouldn't and won't be printed on just any kind of paper. In general, I use a 28lb. color copy paper from Xerox, and it's fantastic for printing general documents, articles, photos, etc. However, when it comes to my business documents, I want a type of paper that truly stands out, one that makes a first-class impression, and that's where Southworth comes in. Everywhere I look, this particular paper is sold for well over $30, but given how special it is, I can understand the price. With that said, when I found out Amazon carried this for just around $25, there was no reason not to jump on the opportunity to buy this, because this is the cheapest you will find this high quality paper, anywhere! As of yesterday, my order arrived, and when I opened up this paper for the first time, let me tell you, I was in shock at the insane quality and feel of this paper. 32lb, 100% Cotton Business paper sitting in the palm of my hands........there's nothing like it!! I noticed the watermark, as it varies in position on every sheet, but I didn't care, because the feel and look of the paper means so much more. When people see my business documents printed on this paper, I know they will be impressed. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made, and I plan on buying a lot more of this Southworth paper very soon. Thanks Amazon!

Tried for printing things to color
An unusual paper. It is rather felt like and does not feel like classic hard surface bond paper. Heavy and elegant but the feel may surprise you if you are expecting heavy paper with a polished finish. Tried using it for printing things to color. It worked OK with watercolor rather dry brush and with pencils and I think it was better than just a 24 pound 25% rag bond for this. But certainly not a hot press 90 pound watercolor paper. Still works just fine in my laser printer but the extra thickness and softness has caused my cheap laser printer to run "pizza wheel tracks" down each side about 3/4 inch in. A bit annoying. Fine paper and possibly worth trying if you are looking for some easy way to print out things to color with pencils or even low wetness watercolor. It does of course buckle with enough water. Just do not expect hot press watercolor paper (which it certainly does not allege to be.) Your printer may like it better and your media may take to it better. For routine use I prefer a 24 or 28 pound 25% rag bond.

Great paper for long term documents
As an archivist I was looking for some paper for my own personal use for documents that I have that I want to last a long time, more than 50 to 100 years. Even though I'm sure whatever I produce won't be all that interesting to anyone outside of my family il is in my nature to print records on paper with durability. All wood pulp has Lingin acid in it and if the paper that is being produced doesn't have all of this removed you get a situation where over time, depending on the quality of paper, acid will start to seep out of it causing the paper to turn yellow and become very brittle. The effect is such that this acid will seep onto other documents that are next to it causing damage. The most striking example of this is to take a newspaper and put it in the back window of your car for a summer and you will witness what I have just described. Newspaper is an easy example as it is printed on the cheapest paper available. However, other paper does this as well. The paper that usually does not have this issue is with older paper made from rags and other linen and high quality acid free paper such as this. If you need high quality paper that will last for many years without the effects of acid damage you should get this, or another type of paper that has had the acid removed. As far as delivery goes, I got my paper in a day, even though I had two day shipping, and the packaging was sturdy enough to protect the paper inside. I was very happy and if I need to buy some more acid free paper I will try purchase this same product.
