Bought a 2 pack of these at Lowes for twice the price … took them back and replaced with these and could not be happier. This is truly a great value and you get several sizes rather than just 1. Love these.

My set is magnetic enough to hold screws as long as the size and shape of the tip matches that of the screw. It is 2019 and so screw designers have had hundreds of years to spec out their unique screw slot designs. This means that one needs a vast array of screwdriver tips in order to do a proper screw driving job. I have dozens of screwdrivers and various tips and none of them fit the soft screws that came with some new cabinet hinges and so I bought this set. I got a match! It is suggested to be very careful and to put these tips into a ratcheting screwdriver for final tightening. Free tip! Mount magnetic strips to a board and attach all of your driver tips to the strips. Take the board to your work. Much better than going back and forth looking through drawers. More likely to select the right tip as well.

These driver bits look pretty sturdy and should hold up if used properly. I need extended length bites to have the reach to get around obstruction where I couldn't keep the bit straight on the screw. However I debated whether to get 3" or 6" whatever the longer size is. I got the 3" thinking it would be enough but Wrong! first time I went to use them I wished the 3" I purchased were longer. I would say buy the long size the first time might be better.
