No-Profile Recessed Bottle Cage Boss Blanking & Sealing Screws (Off-Black, 8-Pack)

Perfect for plugging second set of bottle cage holes in my frame that I wasn’t using. I needed something that sat flush with frame since bottle cage mounted on top of both sets of holes and this was exactly what I needed. Great for keep water and mud out.

These look so much better than the silver bolts that came on the bike. Each stock bolt weighed 3.7g, these weigh 0.9g and I had 4 I replaced. I found they don't thread in as easily as you would expect but they do go in just fine with a little bit of back and forth

Used to replace those flimsy little plastic plugs that cover up the water bottle cage, accessory bag, and fender mounts on my Trek Domane AL4 road bike. Make sure to hand tighten as much as you can and then use the proper size allen wrench (2.5mm) to gently tighten. There is no stop inside the bike frame, so just have to screw it in until flush with the frame. Otherwise, you run the risk of screwing too far in to the point it falls permanently inside the bike frame, resulting in some annoying rattling FOREVER!!!

I like them. Wish they had a bronze color. Two pretty small qualms. One was silver while the rest were the correct color of black - which isn't really black. It's dark silver. I'm not so sure the color will last either, but maybe. One other thing, do wish they were a TOUCH longer. In 99% of cases they'll work just fine, but one of my cage bolts doubles as a bolt that holds a multitool within the frame. and this wasn't quite long enough to get that done. This isn't really star deductable. To the person thinking that they will work with bottle cages or accessories, They will most likely not. These are just a plug alternative in my eyes. EDIT: Bought another set, and there is too much locktite on it. the bolts don't want to go into the threads. It's so tight I worry I'll rip off the inner frame bolts/threads that these thread into. I'm sure I can clean them off, I still like these.

These look nice and fit as they should. The blue threadlocker included is nice. The issue is removal because the screws themselves have very soft drive portion within the head, which makes me doubt the quality of the metal. If you are looking for a cheap solution to plug a few holes on your bicycle, these are a good choice but i wouldn't want to install and remove them multiple times. I had to cut a groove in one to remove it with a flat head and ended up removing them all at once after that.

These are great. Fills all the empty bosses on my steel gravel bike to prevent water ingress.

These were recommended to replace the cheap plastic ones that come on the bike. They are a great replacement and I recommended them to others as well. Much higher quality!

These are the ideal way to fill the mounting bosses, not just for an unused bottle mount, but those for packs. My bike came with plastic plugs that did alright, but now and then I lost one. These are not going anywhere, and they look great too. While a bag of bottle mount screws would have done, that would mean several of them protruding in places where they don't look great. Thanks, Treske, for coming up with this solution. If you're a cyclist looking for a nicer way to close up the extra mounting locations on your bike, these are worth the expense.
