We got this really cool thermometer called "The Springfield Indoor Outdoor Big Bold Thermometer" to keep track of the temperature changes in our area. It's a total game-changer, seriously! This 8.5-inch tall thermometer has big, easy-to-read numbers that make it a breeze to check the temperature, no matter where you are. We liked it so much that we ended up buying two! The thermometer is white, so it looks pretty modern and goes well with our indoor or outdoor space. You can use it both inside and outside, so it's pretty versatile. We found it to be highly accurate, too! We compared it with other devices, and it always gives reliable temperature information. Its bold design makes it visible from a distance, and it's built to last, so it can stand up to the elements if you put it outside. Installing it was super easy - it came with all the necessary hardware. So, whether you want to keep an eye on the temperature in your living room or outside on your patio, the Springfield Big Bold Thermometer is both practical and stylish. We highly recommend it!

Easy to see from a distance Liked so well, bought another

The type face is big and clear to see from a bit of distance. The body is a bit cheap plastic and it just a simple bimetalic strip tied to a poiter. This is not a percision instrument, but can clearly tell you if you need a jacket or not when you head outside.

Works great on a porch. May not be totally accurate (within a few degrees) but looks sleek and easy to read.

not thrilled with this, not even sure it is working correctly. I don't think the temperature is accurate

Nice and large numbers visible from indoor to my carport. It was easy to install. Temperature gauge seems accurate with weather app. I tested it in winter and now with summer coming. I am satisfied so far. I wish I would have spent more for one with the humidity indicator. The Celcius degrees are a bit smaller here, that is my only complain. It did not require any battery and the price was very good. All around it does not feel heavy, and since it is under a roof, covered it really does not get showered with water even when it rains. If you are looking for a basic outdoor thermometer in Farenights without too many feature and just basic type of temperature telling…..buy this.

1st impression Day 1: The thermometer does exactly what I wanted it to do. The item was delivered on time, as described on the site and as of this writing working properly, holding up as expected and without any issues. If anything goes wrong in the near future I will update this review.

I have the thermometer in a shady spot. When summer temp is moderate (mid to upper 80s), the readings are right. Unfortunately when it gets hot, the readings are often lower than the ambient temp-- ex: If the outdoor temp is 93, my thermometer reads around 88. The readings have been in the right range through autumn. It's December now. This year's temps been warmer than average. Over the next couple of months, the temps can range from lower 30s down to the single digits. Will update the review if there's a noticeable problem

Thought this product looked good, but when I read the instructions it states not to put anywhere sunny. Being as this is designed for outside use this seemed totally absurd as the sun will reach it eventually. When the sun reaches it the reading is not correct.
