A solution for #shortgirlproblems
At 5'4" I'm not the shortest person, but I'm often just short enough that my feet don't completely touch the ground when I sit, which is very uncomfortable. I bought this product hoping it would make a recent flight more comfortable and it absolutely did! I was able to adjust it so that my legs were at a proper right angle and it made all the difference in the world. After my trip, I took it with me to a movie theater hoping to figure out a way to sit comfortably without having to always wear 3 inch heels. I was able to lay this across the top of the seat in front of me (stadium seating) and was comfortable again! I was concerned when someone sat in the seat in front of me, but they didn't even appear to notice.I have already told a short friend and my short mother about this and they both plan to get one for themselves.I almost forgot to mention that it folds up nice and compact and therefore doesn't take up a ton of room in a carry-on bag or purse.

Great idea, in practice only fair
While it did elevate my legs on a 9-hour flight, it was cumbersome to get your legs in and out of it, while sitting sardine-fashion in coach class. Not sure it would be effective for a taller person due to airline limited space in coach class. If you put anything under the seat in front of you, you may have trouble using this item because there is no place for your feet to stretch out. I had a hard time getting it on the calf of my leg and keeping it there. Would slip down to my ankles.

My feet didn't swell much after 14 hour flight!
I used this foot rest on 14 hour international flight. I am 5'3" female and was able to stretch out my legs between 32" leg room. Strap did not slip and stayed tight whole time. I also had inflatable foot rest pillow cushion on the floor to rest my dangling heals. My feet did not swell much after i used those foot rests. 5-star product but I took 1-star off wishing the strap can be little longer. Good product for long flight.

Slept for an hour in center seat just because I put my feet up!
I ordered four of these footrests for myself, husband, and kids to use on a cross-country trip. I was uncomfortable on the final leg of our flights so I thought I had nothing to lose by trying the footrest. It was easy to put onto the tray table. At first I put one leg up (a slightly tight squeeze in the center seat but I did it). It worked so well, I decided to put up the other foot. With a jacket and large backpack under the seat in front of me, I didn't think I'd have room to use this but I had plenty of room. Next thing I knew, I was out cold. I didn't even know I was that tired! I never sleep on planes but I slept for a solid hour with my feet in the sling. I'm never traveling without it again.

MUST HAVE
I thought this was potentially hokey, but my husband struggles with his legs going numb on flights so I thought it was worth a try. IT HAS BEEN A LIFE SAVER! He uses it on international flights, and he recently busted it out for a domestic flight just because it made things so comfortable for him! He loops it around the back of the tray table and spends the flight totally happy. My 14yo claimed one for himself now too, so I want to get my own set. Definitely worth it, and well made. Has held up through 2 international round trips and 1 domestic round trip perfectly....expect to get lots of use out if it!

Doesn't work. Useless for my short legs.
I just got on a plane to Italy and was excited to try this as I have a bad knee. It is a complete waste of money. I'm 5' 3" with shorter legs than your average petite gal. The straps are too short and I cannot extend my legs at all. My carry on bag under the seat in front of me does a better job of supporting my feet than this product. The only good thing I can say is that it's lightweight since I'll be carrying it around the whole trip. I cannot wait to get home and return it. It probably cost about 50 cents to manufacture. Buyer beware!

I thought this would be great on a long haul flight and it was just ok. It would be best if you were a window seat user vs an aisle seat since you have to take it off each time someone wants out of the seat. It's not entirely comfortable if you store items under your seat either. I'm not sold on it. It's kind of gimmicky.

I finally found the one!!!
this is my new fave travel accessory... i am 4'10 so i definitely need to rest my feet somewhere during each flight... i used this on our flight from Honolulu to San Francisco and was very pleased with it... i prefer this one than my first footrest (kinda heavy and the legs fold once in awhile) that i bought in Amazon as this is lightweight and space saver... i just hang this on the edge of the tray table and put it right back up... worked out pretty well... so this one will be a good Christmas present for some of my vertically-challenged friends...

A great solution!
I ordered one for myself and my mother for flying long, 9h+ flights. It works well and seems to work on most planes. As a shorter person, I know I am lucky that legroom is not a big issue flying in coach. However, my shorter legs do suffer from a different kind of problem on long flights: if there are footrests on the plane, I often can only reach them with my toes. If I sit "normally" and leave my feet on the floor, the seats put a lot of pressure on the back of my thighs and I have to find some way to elevate my legs every so often. I usually try to put my feet on a bag or backpack underneath the seat in front of me, but accidentally crushing things in my bag is not the best solution. This very portable, roll up hammock alleviates a lot of the above issues, and it allows me to shift around a bit. The clip fastens well and feels secure. The strap is adjustable and so I found a length that was just right for me.

Affordable buddy for a long haul plane trip.
I have just survived 30+ hour flight with this one. Gave me an absolute relief whenever I wanted to lift my legs higher. I used to have another one of footrests, and I have to admit that the previous one was better because it had a horizontal support cushion in the middle. This product is ok but does shrink due to its vertical cut. Therefore my 2 feets was pretty much stuck to each other. I am not a tall/big person so it worked for me and I have nothing to complain for this price. However, if you have big feets or seeking for a more space for freedom, I would recommend those have separate feet seets, or the one with a horizontal cut. What I liked about this item was it was very compact and easy to slip it in the front seat pocket :) Having these footrest makes a HUGE difference when it comes to a long haul flight!

Worth the buy
Really good value for money! Makes a flight much more comfortable than it would be otherwise. A little awkward to set up at first (to get the height right etc.) but after that you can hook and go! Much easier to use if you have fewer items under the seat in front of you and works best with the tray table up. Stores in a cute bag, very light and doesn’t take up much space!

Useful
I used this for an 8 hour flight and it worked well. I will definitely use this again. It’s basic but does the trick giving me another option for comfort. I find it tough to sleep on planes and this helped. The only glitch I ran into was my last flight didn’t have a table to hook onto so I was unable to use.

Super comfy
So good to be able to change the position of my legs on a short international flight recently (4 hours), it'll definitely be put to use on an upcoming long haul flight. Easy to use and adjust, and it folds away into a nice neat bag. Every traveller should have one!
